This place is just the cutest. A gem sitting right. Y union market it's just too conveniently located. They have an oyster happy hour where oysters are 1.25 if you by by the doze and 1.75 if you don't buy by the dozen between like 4-630p. Their wood oven grill makes all the pizza slap. Loove it when it's fresh and you gotta try the charcoal crust!
The oysters are fresh and so is the calamari. A drink with gin and matcha? First place in the city to see do this and I'm equally in love every single time.
I've always had pleasurable service here and the location couldn't be more pristine!

This is one of my new fav places, although it is inconsistent with drinks, the food is AMAZING! I LOVEEEEE their pizza! Salad is good too! Amazing option for a sit down spot in union market!
Pros: the pizza is always AMAZING and solid service - I’ve never had to wait to get a table. REALLY yummy/fun drinks! I loved the crush on you and the matcha one was also tasty!
Cons: the drinks are inconsistent (crush on you tasted like an orange creamsicle in a cute glass one time and like a screwdriver in a normal glass another time) and you can only get happy hour at the bar, not at your table (and the bar gets very very busy/crowded). You can’t order drinks at the bar if you want to sit down at a table…pretty annoying/silly.
Had a lot of fun catching up with the ladies at Bidwell. We enjoyed their happy hour and everything we ordered was so delicious ????. It had been a while since I've been there so I was happy to return and find everything delicious. The grilled cheese and shrimp tacos were my favorites.
Went for bottomless brunch when we visited for a weekend. Went at 11am, and it was pretty empty so we almost had the restaurant to ourselves.
Fresh squeezed orangejuice foe the mimosa was amaing! Also was looking at brunch menu but our waitress saw we were from NYC and recommended the pizza - she was also from long island and said pizza reminded her of home. We got it and were not disappointed! Crust was perfect, and we could choose what type of dough! We never had charcoal dough before so we gave it a try and it was soooooo delicious and supposedly helps with digestion too!
A great dining experience. We ordered lunch but the brunch plates we saw as we were taking our seat were beautiful. My son ordered the chicken quesadillas, but finished them before I could snap a picture. We were served by Keisha who was awesome and made our visit memorable with her great smile and frequent checkins to see if we needed anything. Thank you Bidwell! We will be back for sure. If you’re looking for a family friendly dining experience in Union market, this is it.
Horrible service. Went in for a happy hour drink with a friend as a walk-in customer. We sat at the bar and it took over 20 minutes for staff to acknowledge us and give us a drink menu. After getting our menu, it took another 15 minutes for someone to take our order. Still did not have water or cutlery. The restaurant was not busy, and several staff members walked past us (again, not looking busy). Ordered wings that came out super salty, but the drink was fine. Would not recommend this place based on the customer service or food.
honestly, I’m definitely on the boat of being like one of those people that don’t write reviews unless I’m really not happy with the service so please keep that in mind. I went here last night. I brought my friend who’s from Canada because I was so hungry and definitely a huge mistake and I’ll never be coming here again. We ordered one appetizer. I had a side of sangria and fried chicken when I tell you this fried chicken was the most tasteless chicken I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not even kidding on top of that one of the chicken wings hadblood on the inside and when I had brought this up to the server and he took it back for his manager to see they said that it was OK because they marinated it with salt overnight so it’s OK that the inside of the chicken was bloody. What kind of nonsense is that Public Health issue? I felt like I was completely dismissed. Tell me why the manager went by about the macaroni and cheese, but didn’t have the decency to talk to us about how disgusting that was and also what a shame that my friend had to come to this restaurant.
also, you know you’re not happy with the service when you wake up the next day wondering why you had to pay $30 (split so 60) for a bloody chicken literally I don’t even want to eat the one good fried chicken that was left because I’m so disgusted with this type of service. Honestly, customer service is everything and making sure you have a good reputation is so important I should’ve looked at the reviews seriously don’t bother coming here. They’re plenty of other restaurants outside of this restaurant.
Food is creative and delicious, plus the presentation is great, the chef seems to really care about the overall delivery. Staff were very friendly & helpful from hostess to wait staff to bus staff. The prices were pretty good given the location and quality, a touch high but in line with what you might expect. The fried oysters (photo included) were amazing, and the bright green pea soup was so fresh tasting it was stunning. Cocktails were also unique and yummy. Definitely recommend and we'll go back for sure. Plus the Union Market seems like a great place to be.
