Our group of 4 adults ordered from the menu. I had the Shrimp and Grits entree and it was delicious. Everyone at our table was pleased with the food and service.
We started with Fried Green tomatoes as an entree and they were a table favorite.
Our server was very attentive. We visited during daylight hours and the view of the lake was very nice. Pretty watching ducks and other animals meander around the water through the windows.
The restaurant is very close to I-16 and definitely worth stopping in for a delicious meal.
Food was very good. I had the sirloin, sweet potato and fried green tomatoes. Hubs had the shrimp, ceasar salad (best dressing ever), and loaded baked potato. Rolls hot out of the oven. We sat overlooking the pond with several geese swimming around. Service was EXCELLENT.
Love this place. Best food in Metter. Good stop over on way to Hilton Head from Atl. Had sumptuous buffet on way out and tasty junkyard burger on way back. Nice country atmosphere.
We had the AYCE buffet. They had a nice selection, 3 meat/mains and 10 or so sides as well as salad and dessert. The service was great, the place was clean and the food was good, plus less than $50 for 3 adults.
I was disappointed to find out that they don’t serve the menu items until 4pm daily. I’m not sure if this is new, I haven’t been here in a couple years and we were always able to order from the menu but I was still able to enjoy the buffet and the service was wonderful!
Last night was my very first time doing business with Beverick’s. Honestly I was expecting much better! The bar was not tended to like it should have been especially since it is All You Can Eat Seafood. And honestly the quality of the food isn’t that great either! Our waitress was very nice but I really believe she had way more than she could handle on her own considering it seemed like she was waiting on about 15 tables alone. I will say she was handling it like a champ given the circumstances because they were very busy. We had a group of twenty and half got the bar while the other half ordered from the menu. My daughter’s boyfriend ordered Mozzarella sticks and he got them an hour & a half later. Others in the group ordered steak and got theirs in a hour & a half as well. I ordered the bar & fried green tomatoes and can say the food was pretty bland. The fried green tomatoes were ok with the sauce but without seemed like there was no type of seasoning. I really doubt that we will ever visit this place again. Reading the reviews seems like most people like this place and that’s awesome. Maybe they were having staffing issues like the rest of the world however, to combat this issue I would say let your guest know before they are seated that way if they choose to stay knowing the timing of getting your food and other things will be effected. When people have a heads up on such issues and still choose to come in & wait it out it’s on them the guest at that point and doesn’t look so bad on the business.
Holy Moly Deliciousness! If you love southern comfort food made with love, STOP HERE! I’m so sad I don’t live closer. There is NOT one thing bad I can say. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. My family opted for the the buffet. We enjoyed salad bar but the true wonderfulness came from hot entrees. They are known for the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. Lawrd, I tried to eat my body weight in both. Chicken so tender, Mac and cheese so creamy. Collards, green beans and Lima beans are my favorite. Incredible flavor. I had hot apple cobbler and my son enjoyed a cone from the ice cream machine. I’m so sad I missed the banana pudding I spotted later in my photos. Service was great too! Bar in back and plenty of parking. Enjoy view on pond and ducks swimming around. Ya’ll have to stop in.
The lake front was nice. The food was average. Just another quick put-together buffet with some average fried chicken. (That was it) Decent place to stop if you've been driving for hrs and need a bite with a view.
