I very much enjoyed my visit at Betty Market & Restaurant. Came in for a late lunch. Had a veggie platter and I was curious what the sauce is giving in Ethiopian Spaghetti. The food did not disappoint. It was very fresh and well seasoned. I was impressed that the Nijera bread is made with actual Teff which means it’s gluten free! I could tell right away it’s not a heavy yet light and fluffy as to other Ethiopian places. From the market I got some Himbasha bread. I’m going to have it for breakfast. I will be back.
I have eaten Ethiopian food in Ethiopia and around the world and this is some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. Great service, great atmosphere very clean and also many Ethiopian food products (chickpeas , berbere, incense, snack) to take home. Highly recommended!! ????????
Betty Market is my favorite in Inglewood, the food is always amazing. I love the veggie platter and tibs! Will be back soon :)
I’ve been to a lot of Ethiopian spots… from those on Fairfax to ones across Chicago, but Betty is the ONE. the most balanced and well seasoned vegetarian platter I’ve ever had, and the shiro is everything. and everyone was so kind. will definitely be back
The best Ethiopian food ever. It’s a must to check out this place. We had the veggie combo and shiro and it was fresh and tasted amazing! Definite recommend for anyone vegan/vegetarian. The portion size is really good as well compared to other Ethiopian restaurants. The owners Johnny and Betty gave us the most authentic experience with the coffee ceremony and pop corn which is a plus!

I had my lunch at Betty Market and restaurant . I was really impressed the way the food tasted which was beef tibs seasoned lightly with Ethiopian chili called Berbere and of course with other spices too. Guess what I am Ethiopian myself and been here in US over 20years and never experienced such delicious taste and pretty same taste like mom one . I can’t wait to taste their kitfo which is lean ground beef seasoned with berbere rich in butter.Thanks Betty restaurant for your hospitality and cleanness.
The place is the best all around. The food the people the vibe. Best in southern California. I can't wait to come back.
