Nice, simple place. Excellent food. Reasonably diverse menu. Grayson, our server, was dynamically pleasant and efficient. Food was a little slow in coming, but it was worth the wait.
Hamburger was quite good. Green beans were excellent. Cole slaw flavor was quite good, but i didn't care for the way it was chopped.

Overall, very nice. Staff was all smiles and genuinely friendly.
Worth a trip here if you're craving a good burger or delightful comfort food!

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere!! Staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is perfection! I do believe I have found my new favorite place to eat!
A great local option! It seems like they really pay attention to the atmosphere and decorations here, and there are a lot of options on the menu! We also got a table in a side room alcove, which was good for the kids.
The plates and the service weren't quite dialed in, with a long wait, and the food didn't quite match the menu description when it came out. LTPO was left off the chopped sirloin burger, brown gravy left off the Mushroom and Swiss burger, which came out with white American, not Swiss cheese. The fries that came out were the bagged crinkle-cut style and were cool when they got to the table. Just overall seemed like the kitchen wasn't quite on it for this visit, but we definitely will be back to try them again.
I’ve been to Better Burger a handful of times already and it’s always delicious. Today I went to get a takeout order because I’ve been cleaning up shards of glass from the storm that rolled through on Sunday night and did massive damage to Richmond. I look tired because I am very tired. The service was great as always, the food was exceptional as always but today they took note of my exhaustion and treated me with great kindness. One lady even stepped out from a very busy kitchen to Pat me on the back and make sure I was okay. This little restaurant is not just in it for the money as you can tell by the low prices but they actually treat people with respect and kindness. It feels like sitting down at your parents or grandparents table and in my opinion, that can’t be beat!
I came alone and got lunch. The food was good and the service too. The problem came after my meal. I was harrassed by a random guy while I was sitting down and finishing my meal right as I was getting ready to leave. The waitstaff did nothing to help me, and instead, they laughed along with this man who was clearly making me feel uncomfortable. I then got up to leave because of this, and the man stood in front of the door, forcing me to have to come uncomfortably close to him in order to EXIT this establishment. I just hope this was not an employee speaking to me this way.
Better Burgers and More is a one of a kind place they have breakfast and lunch All day until 4pm plus their prices per person is hard to beat defiantly one of my favorite places to eat. If your looking for somewhere that is cheap but is still good then you won't be disappointed by going here. You won't regret it at all and you will probably eat here every chance you get.
Best food ever and if you like fried mushrooms they have the best. The employees are wonderful caring people I have MS and can't walk or stand for more than 5 minutes and when I order carryout they watch for me to pull up and they bring it out to me to help me avoid falling getting more injuries. . Want a great family place with home cooking you can't beat better burgers.

I wanted to sample the Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy is made using the bacon dripping. It is silky and has good pork flavor, but it desperately needed some salt. The biscuits are brought in fresh every day. They are a bit dense and not super fluffy, but they offer good texture with the gravy.
My fiancé had the Cheeseburger and fries. This is served with a 1/3 pound burger, American cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. The burger was seasoned well, was juicy, and had a good crust. The cheese was melted correctly, the bun is toasted, and the veggies were fresh. Her fries were cooked almost to a great crisp, but they required salt.
I tried the Tom's Spicy Burger and fries. This is served with two 1/3 pound patties, grilled onions, jalapeños, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, and pepper jack cheese. The bun was toasted well, the burgers were seasoned, crusted, juicy and cooked perfectly. The cheese was melted and the veggies were fresh. The special sauce did not have a lot of flavor. It tasted like a spicy mayo. The spiciness could be turned up just a bit and there needs to be a little more sauce on the burger.
Better Burgers and More serves breakfast all day, with several options and lunch entrées consisting of burgers and sandwiches. They also have daily specials. The service is great. The Fat Man says that Better Burgers and More is Fat Man Approved with 2 chins.
