This is the classic case of putting lipstick on the pig. The outside of the property is newly painted, the lobby has new stack stone, but once you go into the rooms it is the old straight out of the ‘70’s $60 room, only now it is $300 ($299.98) to be exact. The wallpaper was coming off, awful carpet, chipped paint. The toilet barely had the power for a flush and an old old shower, but they did give you a rubber mat if you wanted to use it. You could also hear through the walls, and what was going on in the hall- poor soundproofing. The only good thing is that the property was right off the highway so we were royally ripped off. Summertime price gouging , or Bidenomics?? Hard to tell.
Positive: not much. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean but the experience stopped there. Negative: The room was tied and dirty. The bathroom was the worst I have seen in a long time. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were floating in water. The breakfast area was not well maintained. Negative: ""
Went to check in at 1:00pm. It was early so they were going to charge $20. We decided to wait until 3. While there we saw that their pool was closed for renovation. We booked specifically because we wanted a pool. They didn’t let us know ahead of time. I tried to cancel and they still charged me $150. I understood the cancellation policy of 24 hours before however, they didn’t let me know that their hotel wouldn’t have a pool available as advertised. Do. Not. Recommend!
Literally the best place to stay in the entire tri state area.
The breakfast is top tier 10/10 whether you want fresh fruit or some fresh hot bacon and eggs trust me you won’t be disappointed.
The management and entire team is super friendly.
Hands on and fast if you need something.
The rooms are really clean and they are pet friendly which works out great for me because my best friend is my pup and where ever I go he goes.
I’ve stayed here several times and have never been disappointed.
For a really good affordable price you get luxury.
The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and efficient. The appearance and amenities in the lobby were great. However, the rooms were low quality. I expected two queens, but had two doubles. The quality of beds, bedding, and towels were poor. The room felt dirty. The three of us had a very poor night of sleep.
95% of the experience was pretty bad almost laughable. My wife wasn't laughing at all but it was just so ridiculous one thing after the other in the first ten minutes of the first room they gave us. We walk in they spent a little money in the lobby so you think the place is going to be ok. lol we got a two bed room right off the bat the flange was leaking a river of water on the bathroom floor from the toilet tank. Then I went to sit on one of the beds to call the front desk about the toilet and the front corner of the queen bed hit the floor because one of the legs were gone so it made the back other side of the bed go up off the ground and in the air about 4 ft. The repair guy came really fast but while we were waiting for him to come we tried the TV and that was broken. Then as the repair guy and the head lady from the front desk were talking outside of our room to try to find us another room three other rooms have been fixed with new toilets and they all leaked. They finally got us a new room with the beds that weren't broken a TV that works and a bathroom toilet that didn't leak. But then their drop ceiling was filthy and I used a white hand towel to wipe water up off the floor and it came up black with dirt not that I was really surprised but it was pretty filthy. The hotel was basically maybe an eighth full of people and the hotel across the street that was a Hampton inn by Hilton was packed full so obviously all those people knew what we didn't. So it's probably definitely worth it to pay the extra $20 to stay at the Hampton inn across the street. the only good thing about the place and trust me they didn't spend a dime on any of the rooms inside they only spent money on their lobby the only good thing about the place was its breakfast aside from the 2 inches of dust on all the machinery it was probably the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel for free. And like I said all the people that work there were very nice except for one lady we talked to on the phone a few days prior to booking the room she was definitely a rude cranky lady and she definitely hates her job obviously. But the best thing was is that the new room that we got that had a toilet that ended up not worked it was clogged and I had to ask for a 30-year-old plunger from the front desk and plunge the toilet myself when none of us had put anything in it yet so all in all it was a pretty bad experience I would definitely not recommend it to anybody and I will chalk it up to one of the worst places I've ever stayed
We booked this hotel simply because it was inexpensive, 1/2 way along our travel route and included breakfast. The room was spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. The desk staff was accommodating and helpful and the breakfast was very good. ||If we ever pass through town again I’d stay here anytime. Very satisfied.
Positive: There were so many things that were nice. Greeted warmly by the staff at the front desk and check-in was so easy and efficient. BED was comfortable. Everything was fine in the room, it was quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Negative: "" Negative: ""
