Carlos and Rod are wonderful! They helped me out when my catalytic converter was stolen from my parking garage at the Midtown Arbor Place apartments in Midtown Houston during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Carlos quoted me a fair price for the work that had to be done to install my new converter, the shield I purchased, as well as the O2 sensor. The work unfortunately involved welding too and when I heard that I definitely thought my quote was going out the window. To my surprise, what I was quoted was what I paid, plus a service fee for using a credit card. I brought my car in around 9 am on a Monday, and I picked it up the same day around 5:30 pm. Carlos and all of his staff are polite, kind, and they were willing to assist in any way. I will definitely be going back to Carlos and his team for all of my auto maintenance needs. Thank you all so much!
Great honest work for a very fair price. I came in last minute on a Friday and they got my car fixed in an hour when the dealership was quoting me several days and 20x the price. Would definitely come back if I had more issues with my car. I recommend calling first as their address is different than what is listed here on Google
Criminal! I went in to have my catalytic converter removed so I could test an issue I have been having and asked to keep my part . He refused to let me have it saying it was illegal and now I'm out $150 plus $1000 for a new catalytic converter. I would not recommend this place at all . Also lied to me when I asked if removing that would make my truck sound different. Well it sounds horrible!! I am furious. Beware, your best going some where else .
This place has great prices. I was looking for a catalytic converter to replace the one in my truck, and I decided to stop by this place as it was close to my job in downtown. I paid the same price for parts and installation as the price for the part at auto zone. Not only that but with a three year guarantee. Would most definitely bring me vehicles back to this location four any muffler related issues.
I went there to have my brake booster on a 96 Geo Tracker changed he said it would be $230 including brakes and master cylinder, with me furnishing the parts. 3 weeks later he couldn't find the parts and only partially fixed things and still charged $230 Don't go there, they're a rip-off and liars. On top of all that my vehicle had been there for 3 weeks just sitting there until I called and asked about status, they had my number but never bothered to call.
Far from the 'best' muffler shop.
I called and got an estimate to bring my car in for a simple weld. I was quoted a fair price over the phone and was told to bring it over. Once I get there, the owner is sitting in the little office and refuses to come out. He sends his son out to say they're busy today and to bring it back a couple days later. I ask for an appointment, and they won't give me one, because they do mostly walk-ins.
Shop was very dirty, combined with bad customer service. Won't be going back and will never recommend to anyone.
They couldn't give me a quote they say i have to bring it in how can i do that my catalytic converter is gone. In it hooks on to my muffler im not going to blow a gasket trying to get there. They could of gave me a estimate my GOD.
They installed my catylytic converter, they were fast and very friendly, I'm glad I found this spot, actually some good mechanics left out there that have customer service skills
