The perfect bar to go to if you’re from out of town or local and don’t wanna deal with any foolishness and u wanna get a good dose of blues/ jazz and a lil bounce to shake to

Words cannot fully describe Bertha's Place. This place is definitely a spot for locals, and is open really late. When we first arrived to NOLA, we were looking for some place close to our Airbnb that was still open, and this place was packed and filled with fun vibes! Its a bar, restaurant, and dance club! Everyone was very welcoming, and it was a fantastic beginning for our short stay in NOLA. The DJ was amazing! One bop after another! We ordered Yakamein which is apparently a unique NOLA noodle dish with Chinese roots that was really homey, and was exactly what we needed that night. We also ordered fried shrimp and oysters, and those were really bomb. On top of a bunch of fries it was a great deal for the price! One of our favorite spots during our stay, and we'll be back to say hello to Bertha :)

Very chill/cool spot. The deejay is on it BUT if you've never been to plaxe like this before order the Pint of liquor and make your own drinks because the bottles behind the bar are very much watered down. I ordered Beefeater (gin) and instantly knew after tasting that the bottle had water in it but I didn't feel like fighting and just left.

Had such a great time!! Recommended by an Uber driver. Food was amazing. We had wings and fries! Definitely coming back

The patrons were very nice and the bartenders were on point! The DJ was awesome! Ms. Bertha, thanking for showing 2 Chicago girls what fun, good Vibes, and a great place to hang out looks like! ????

Had a great time my first time visiting, the owner made I was taken care of also the great bartender Keonte (sorry if I spelled it wrong) she was amazing!!
