“They only look expensive.” ???? Great food and service. We ate a late lunch on Saturday and had a burger, patty melt, and chicken wrap. The fries are great as well- thin and crispy.
Good onion rings burgers are homemade not frozen pre-made. Unfortunately my burger was red raw.
Good Ol hold in the wall barn on the outside remodeled and modern on the inside. Very good selection of drinks and food.
I may be biased since I am a local. But definitely try it out for yourself and feel free to comment back here with your thoughts. It is not at all what you would expect from the outward appearance. Just apears to be a somewhat run down small town whole in the wall bar but looks are sometimes very deceiving! This little "BAR" is so much more it has a recently remodeled interior and a unique atmosphere very friendly management and staff and definitely some of the best food around. A full assortment of drinks behind the bar ready wet your whistle. Pool table and video golf arcade machine to challenge your friends to a game or ten. They also have an outside beer garden and seating area with a dance floor and Dj, and or sometimes live bands to shake your groove thing to. Like I said if you're in the area or passing through on highway 75 or 54 stop in and give it a try for yourself and let me know if I'm wrong or if they hit the spot for you too! We had read reviews but we're hesitant to try because it was not what we expected on the outside of the building. I'm so glad we stopped! I had the massive club sandwich, and it was amazing! The toasted to perfection bread, showcased the delicious smoked meats, and cheese, wonderfully, add the crisp lettuce and garden fresh tomatoes and you have a extraordinary meal in one sandwich.
The food was ok, our burgers were pretty raw in the middle, so be sure to specify your level of doneness. Service could have been better, paid more attention to the men at the bar! Seemed like a play date place to take kids, an awful lot of them there!
The hamburger I had was over cooked and could have used some lettuce, onions and the like. The side salad and tater tots were a touch skimpy for sides.
We were just passing through. Had been driving all day, and we were starving. Out in the middle of nowhere. There's not much to choose from around there. So we decided to take the chance. We were pleasantly surprised. Great burgers and fries! Great service.
