Lost my transmission on I-80. Not being from the area or the state had no clue where to have my trucked towed to. Found Bergen Diesel on Google and had my truck taken here. What a blessing. Abraham had my truck truck back up and running with a new transmission in 2.5 days. He is hard working, honest, very knowledgeable and very fair priced. Been dealing with Abraham for many years, he’s fixed my flat bed tow trucks and rebuilt my ford 6.0 and 6.7 within the last 7 years. Honest work and never tries to over charge or over sell the work that needs to be done. Recommend him 100% for any diésel work especially Ford in the northern NJ area.
Ive had my Ford 550 for 5 years and its been an amazing truck but recently its started to give me problems by beginning with blowing smoke from the exhaust to not wanted to crank at all. I had Two mechanics try and fix it but were unsuccessful and made me spend a lot of money for them to try and "fix" it by guessing what might be the problem. Lot of people told me to not spend more money into it and just throw it out. I ended up putting it up for sale and found Bergen Diesel. I talked to Anthony and told me they could fix this truck in no time and boy did they. In less than 48 hours Abraham had already diagnosed the problem and wasted no time into fixing it and in less than a week I got back my truck. Their price was super fair and they always kept me updated on the process. I am thankful for having to encounter Bergen Diesel because it's rare to find a mechanic who is Honest and knows what he is doing. I definitely recommend this company to anybody who needs a reliable Mechanic. Will definitely come back for their service.
Where do i start. after taking my ford f550 diesel to 2 mechanic shops, spending almost $4000 dollars to still have my dump truck not running i was about to give up. My local ford dealership was 6 weeks backed up. Someone recommended me to BERGEN diesel after having their 6.0 completely rebuilt, i decided to have my truck towed here.
Spoke to the owner Abraham who was able to schedule me in to diagnose the truck. After finding out the other shops were playing a guessing game by changing parts that didn’t even fail, he was able to figure out the problem within a couple hours.
In less than 3 days my truck was back on the road. He even did a few things on the house since they were simple fixes to keep me DOT legal and offered a maintenance follow up after i put a few miles on my truck. I’ve finally found myself an honest mechanic. I won’t be going to anyone else besides Abraham. See you for my next service interval. It’s been about 10,000 miles already and not one hiccup.

I found Bergen Diesel after I was screwed over by another diesel shop in NJ which I won't name. Abraham is very knowledgeable in Ford Powerstroke Engine rebuilding and maintenance. I will never take my F450 to another place besides here. Top quality service and I don't have that weird feeling of being taken advantage of.

One of the best diesel mechanics out there. Worked on my NPR ISUZU and got it back up and running no issues for the rest of the trip back to the west coast.
