The chef was humorous and willing to make a show. The server was friendly. The kids menu could become a cute hat. The hibachi tasted great with homemade garlic and yum yum sauce. The fried rice was so delicious. The vegetables included mushrooms, onions, and zucchini, which could have more options. But I could not give them more stars. It took mostly one hour to wait for our chef during the lunch time. We came in around 12:30 and had the first bite around 1:30. They were also cleaning the floor which seemed muddy with bubbles. It seemed they were not ready for open. Really disappointed. Hope they can be better.
Chef Jeremy was fantastic! He put on a great show, was hilarious, and found ways to include my kids that we won't soon forget! I would highly recommend him! Also, the food he prepared was amazing! (the spicy fried rice is soooo good)
Thst said, I've had bad experiences in Benihana before (not this one), so I was apprehensive (even though it was to celebrate my dad's birthday), but Chef Jeremy definitely put my fears at ease. I would definitely want to come back.
We had a great experience with chef Jeremey, he had us laughing and everything cooked perfectly. He was also sensitive to allergy requests.
Having a reservation here means nothing. Our waitress seemed unhappy serving us and bringing our drinks. we had 20 minute wait for water 30 for our drinks. A chef realized we needed a cook and helped us get one. But we had no silverware no plates nothing. The chef was a bit annoyed too but he did his job and made our food. overall we had a good time after the chef showed up 1.5 hours later
I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, and so where the drinks. Chef Jeremy was slicing and dicing, flipping and dipping, tossing and flossing, and did all the right things. He really made the experience. I have to really admit it was a lot of fun.
What is the secret with their rice? I swear its so good. I watch them do it right in front of me, but I can't imitate it at home.
Got to the restaurant at 620pm for our 630pm reservation. Got sat at 7pm with 7 others we didn't no. ( that wasn't any issue! They were great company) the waitress took a while to get to us to get our drinks. We got our drink, soup and salad and then waited an hour for the chef. Once the chef came out he didn't have half of the stuff to make our orders, had to stop multiple times due to his cart not being prepared correctly. Once again this isn't the chefs fault. I ordered white rice I was almost done with my dinner before even receiving it. Asked to speak to the manger. He discounted the one lady meal but only took off our rice. It's now 9pm and we're finally heading home. ???? I go to this restaurant every chance I get but I think I'll take my business else where since the manager didn't seem to care much. Happy mothers day to me!
Dined here on 5/5/24 for a graduation dinner. Had a 5 pm reservation, all but 2 out of our party of 10 were present as they were stuck in traffic. We let the hostess know that they were running a little late and she said it was okay. At 5:14 pm, we were told that if the rest of our party was not there by 5:15 pm we would lose our reservation and have to leave. As a group we decided to be seated at our table and call the other two and order for them. The hostess was very rude and we were told that we "better not hold up the waitress or chef" due to this. I understand why she said this, but it could have been said in a more professional manner. The rest of our party arrived maybe 5-10 minutes later, during this time our waitress hadn't even been to our table anyway. We were all able to order together with no issues. During the HOUR between placing our order and the "chef" coming to the table, we received our soup and salad. Both of these items were placed from the waitress' dirty tray directly onto our plates. Very unsanitary. In addition to this, the area around us was absolutely disgusting. There was a layer of grease over everything around us and a layer of dust on top of that, so you know it hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was food all over the floor as well. Our seats blocked the fire extinguishers too which didn't seem very safe. We got a high chair for our daughter and an employee asked if we wanted it wiped down because "sometimes we don't clean them". After getting the high chair back to our table, we noticed that the buckle was broken and another piece on the bottom was missing as well. The waitress barely came back to our table the whole time we were there until after the chef left and then pretty much rushed us to leave. I had pretty much just started eating when she asked me multiple times if I needed a box. I ordered the hibachi chicken and the chef overcooked the chicken so much, it was crunchy. We were there for about 3 hours from start to finish due to a lot of waiting for the waitress and chef. Overall just an awful experience, very glad we won't be back.
6/5 stars if I could for Chef Jeremy. His skills at the grill are inspiring. So fun for a corporate work lunch of 10! The only thing better than the food was his quick wit!
