From out of town and both headlights stopped working, told the shop I needed to leave in 2 days. They got it in quick and turns out both headlight bulbs went out at the same time. Cheap and quick fix. These guys are honest and awesome!!
I have had multiple issues with my vehicles, Brian has always been very helpful, patient and honest.

Being from a small town where you know your mechanic personally, I was really nervous when I needed a new clutch here in the Boise Valley. There’s so many places that will misquote, take advantage or try to upsell you any chance they get.
A good friend highly suggested I go to Bench Garage and I am relieved I did.
The price was fair(actually under), the job was done with honest effort, integrity and as timely as it could have gone.
My beloved vehicle is back with buttery smooth gears and it feels like brand new again.
I will definitely be bringing my car back here if I need any further work done to it!

Truly incredible staff. Kind, competent, fast, fair. They’ve consistently done great work for my vehicle, but I’m waiting for them to open a doctors office or daycare because I’d happily trust these guys with anything.
Trustworthy, affordable, and courteous. I asked them to check three things on my car. They told me that two of the things weren't an issue, and didn't need to be fixed, but that one did (my radiator fan). This indicates to me that they're trustworthy and not just out to get every dollar they can for unnecessary work. They also noticed several repairs that were more critical, which had to do with my wheel's connection to my car. I was very glad that they found that issue before a tire popped off while I was driving! In addition, they completed the work within the time constraint that we needed the car done. They spent time with me to show me what had gone wrong with some of my ball bearings. Based on experiences with prior car shops (which, granted, is not extensive), I'd expected a bill close to $1000, but they came in at $550. Very happy and will return in the future.
The only thing is that there are a lot of cars outside and the front office area is fairly disorganized and dirty. It made me a little nervous at first, but I'd seen that the other Google reviews mentioned the same thing. In any event, the disorganization seemed to have no effect on their ability to fix my car, which is the important part!
If you want a mechanic with a strong moral compass, go here! They are honest, charge very reasonable prices, and they are nice ☺️
I dropped my car off to have my oil changed and get the brakes done. My brakes were occasionally making noise and another mechanic had told me they needed to be done, so I looked around for a mechanic near me with good reviews and found Bench Garage. Much to my surprise, Brian told me I actually didn't need my brakes done. They had plenty of life left on them. He said something along the lines of, "I could have done them, but I want to wake up tomorrow and still like the person I am." He ended up just cleaning up the drums and didn't even charge me for it! Apparently the dirty drums were causing the occasional noises. I ended up only paying for the oil change and his rates for that were more than reasonable.
I really appreciated his honesty, especially since I would have been so easy to take advantage of. I definitely recommend Bench Garage!
