Eaten here twice. The first visit left some room for improvement. But to be fair, they had only been open a few days. The second visit was much, much better. Great food... served hot! Our server was a "charmer". The prices are very reasonable! Ambience is good.... a little loud during the middle of dinner, but got quieter around 7:00. So if you're looking for a very good dining experience but want it a little quieter, make your reservation for 7:00PM.
Probably one of the worst meals I have ever had this year! We were served for a party of eight, however, they forgot my meal. Had to wait 5 minutes after everyone else received their entree!
Wanted a steak with baked potato - not offered? Plus my meal was Luke warm.
At the bar prior to the meal, ordered 2 drinks! Received 1, when I summoned them over, they wanted to know if I wanted to close out my bill. I said no, would like to have 2nd drink I ordered. Service????
Went to the happy hour. We sat at a table in the bar area. The appetizers were very good. The service was a little confused. The server brought our food to the wrong table at first. We had three different servers come to our table to take orders. Even the bartender came out from behind the bar to take our drink orders. Manager should make sure that servers are assigned to specific tables.
Excellent food. Salmon with risotto was terrific, burger very good, the pasta dish was fantastic, the filet was odd with the gravy but tasty. All in all would go back. They forgot the risotto on my salmon plate, but brought out one. Service was fair, very slow and somewhat frazzled. Hopefully that aspect will improve.
Awesome ambiance and service. The food, however was substandard in the quality and presentation. Our first disappointment came when we realized that the online dinner menu is not the same as what’s really available, which is mostly sandwiches and bar food. I had my heart set on the lamb ossobuco, or the sea bass cioppino (both listed online) but had to settle for seared salmon over a bed of risotto and asparagus.The salmon was way overcooked and dry, as was the risotto, on top of this was a display of shriveled up, limp asparagus. I took 3 bites and discarded the rest. Someone else at our table ordered pasta with scallops that also came overcooked with a handful of pea size scallops; that dish was sent back to the kitchen and replaced with a Cuban sandwich. Two of our six guests ordered the night’s special, pot roast, and they were satisfied.
I do not recommend this restaurant it is overpriced and they do not even know how to make a good cocktail. I would recommend going to the Golf Course Grill instead, they have better service, better cocktails and food!
This is a very nice restaurant inside the Corte Bella subdivision. You have to go through the gated entry, but you just tell the guard that you are going to the restaurant. Masks are optional now. Most people were not wearing them. This place is above average with white table clothes, expensive silverware, and real cloth napkins. Prices were very reasonable, plus we had a coupon from the local paper that gave us 10 percent off one entree. They are very generous with their wine. Our glasses were 3/4 full instead of only half full when they came out. Note that this place caters to the older Sun City West crowd. We drove over from Sun City Grand. If you don't know the area, you will need your map app on your phone to find it and to get back home. I highly recommend the Anacapa Restaurant.
Brunch was great on Sunday. They were possibly a bit short staffed or there was some miscommunication between staff. Tasty and great atmosphere.
Went to dinner last week and the service was all over the place, took a long while to get our food, but when it finally arrived it was very Good!
Come for happy hour from time to time and it is always a bit confusing whether a server will come to the table or you have to go get your drinks at the bar. Well priced happy hour drinks though.
