Came here for breakfast as I really wanted a tofu scramble ???? it was more cubed tofu but I don't mind that. With tomato, mushrooms and avocado, a side of toast and fruit. It was pretty delicious! My partner has pancakes with sausage and scrambled egg. 4 stars, they were good but nothing amazing. The portion was decent, and loads of maple syrup. There was no one else in the cafe, the server was very attentive, glasses always full. The atmosphere was ok... It was a bit cold in the place, and my only suggestion would be to change the table cloths, maybe something to brighten up the room. The price seemed a bit expensive, we didn't order coffee because of this. Overall, 4 stars.
Great food! Good people! The only real breakfast (I mean PANCAKES and EGGS and BACON) in town it seems! Home town cafe feel to it! The only place in silicon valley who understood putting eggs on toast (dropped eggs on toast as picture below) AAA service!
We headed there after long hike in big basin redwood and have brunch here. We order pancakes, french toast, cafe Florentine, omelet, and all food has good quality and taste. For the price of food, they offer very good quality service. Enjoyed our food and the staff was polit and helpful.
The waitress was nice but had to ask for refills; she only came by to order and deliver. The food was overcooked and fairly pricey (see photo). It's all cash too, which I don't mind if the place is good, but I'll probably pass next time. Not horrible but pretty meh.
My wife and I were reluctant to try this place because of some of the other reviews but after having breakfast here we can’t say enough good about it. It’s not the high class environment but if you want a really good, hardy, country breakfast that’ll fill you up this is the place.

Friendly waiter and cute place. The restaurant was freezing cold and smelled heavily of cleaning products. Burgers were $16 each and lacked any seasoning, bacon was nearly raw. Partner's home fries were burnt on the outside, raw on the inside. My salad was only lettuce and tomatoes. Definitely would have been better if there was more than one person doing everything himself. Not worth a $40 lunch.
My wife and I had breakfast here. Our two dishes get decidedly different reviews. She had the pancakes (blueberry) and they were light and fluffy. Cooked perfectly. I ordered the corned beef hash special. The corned beef tasted and looked like it came out of a can. Not only did it come out of a can but then they managed to burn it. The has browns had a nice crisp but once you got past that they were watery tasting. I left most of my food. Not what I would expect for a special that cost more than $17. Add in a coffee and a tea and the total with tip was just over $50.
