Was in search of a new barber after relocating back to the area. Mike is 10/10. Would definitely recommend. Flexible scheduling, professional, fast and thorough.
Tried to re-book an appointment with Jennifer Wood through Groupon and got a rather unprofessional and crude response on Christmas Eve. I'm not perfectly innocent here either but I don't think this is how you're supposed to talk to your customers....
I uploaded some photos of our exchange if you want to be entertained and informed. Please note how she insults me further after I didn't respond and she accidentally sent me a screenshot of our conversation. Funny, cause I'm not actually a "liberal." She also called me "beyond rude," self-centered, the ugliest client she has ever had, and she cussed at me after I stopped responding.
I'm sad I have to write a bad review but I simply don't want anyone else to be subjected to this unprofessionalism. It's rather disappointing.

In response to the owner, while I understand now that rebooking before Christmas is impolite (which I apologized for), it doesn't merit the hideous response of the stylist who responded by calling me rude, ugly, self-centered, and cussing at me. I also cancelled with a 24 hour notice vs no notice as she says, which isn't optimal but was the best I could do at the time as I had to take a family member to the hospital. I do appreciate the apology from you but her nasty response is inexcusable.
Even if there are people standing around doing nothing if you don’t have an appointment they will not cut your hair. Make sure you make an appointment. They could have cut my hair in the time I was waiting in the lobby for someone to say something. Seemed like nice staff though!
Stopped by just to check the place out and wound up with an appointment for later that day. My stylist Dawn was super friendly, not sure of what I wanted and having gone without a cut for some time she hooked me up with a quick trim and I was on my way. This place is much larger than it looks, serves both men and women. They have quite a few stylist here and found the cost to be quite reasonable. Its on the second floor but don't fret, there is an elevator right next to the salon for easy access if your like me and don't do well on stairs. Plenty of close parking as well.
Tonya is the best hair dresser I have ever used. You can't go wrong.
Been going here for years. Mike the owner makes sure the facilities are in tip top shape. Comfortable chairs and music if you have to wait... very very clean. The hair professionals there are all top notch and know their stuff. Set up an appointment and never wait. Dawn cuts my hair but I would be comfortable with anyone their if Dawn is not available.

My ex wife comes here from Albemarle to get her hair done, my Mom loves this place, as do my girls.
I come here and to Marie also when my schedule allows.
So, if considering coming here, do so.
Ask for Marie, but if you cannot get her, the rest of the staff will please you too
I love Vicky so much!! She gives me the best hair cuts I have ever had. The salon is always clean and the people are nice and friendly. It's a great environment.
