Best resteraunt at Old Orchard Beach! Great prices and quality food. Service can take a while since it can be busy but all the servers are amazing. My girlfriend and I go to Old Orchard Beach every year and make time to come to this resteraunt. There's nothing like it around the area. Unless you're looking for poor quality bar food (which is most of the food around Old Orchard beach) stop here for a bite!
Every time I come up to Old Orchard Beach, my family and I stop here! It's no frills, but a solid, straightforward meal. Everything is reasonably priced with portions that will leave you full. Once you walk in, you feel like you've been transported back in time. Old school decor, your classic American restaurant. On the menu, they have an option for a 3-course meal. They have various options to choose from for a fixed price! It's great . My only complaint about it is that they used to have steamers as an option for an appetizer in the fixed 3 course meal, and it is no longer included. I decided on clam chowder, Caesar salad, and stuffed shrimp. I enjoyed the salad, and the stuffing for the shrimp was buttery and rich, but the clam chowder was terrible. No flavor at all and extremely watery broth. Would never get that again. Overall, enjoyable sit down, family restaurant, and will be back next year!
Nice atmosphere, fast friendly service. Good drinks. We didn't have to wait long for drinks or our meal. We had the fried scallops and whole fried clams meal, both cooked to perfect. We will definitely eat here again.
Full disclosure - We probably eat here 5 to 10 times each season. We also send all of our guests! Always satisfied. Nice people, good service and excellent food. Not the greatest decor, yet, we’re there for the food :-) I suggest the mariner stew, fried clams and scallops, or the large lobster roll. Plenty of choices for non-seafood eaters as well.
Before I rave about the great Lobster Roll I had, I need to give a shout out to the great service. In from out of town, walked in looking for a good Lobster roll and was greeted by the bartender Krista. She greeted me with a smile and had me feeling like I was a regular there with 10 mins. Truly a great experience all around. The large Lobster roll? Amazing, get it drizzled with warm butter!
The servers where so polite and speedy. The food was fresh and delicious.
Delicious food, great staff. Had a bit of a wait and food took longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait. I ordered the twin lobster dinner which came with a choice of appetizer, a choice of salad-house salad or caeser salad- and a side with the lobsters. I left there very satisfied.
I visited the place last summer and it was a fine place. Location is not bad. Service was good for the amount of people our party was. Overall, not a bad place. I ended up with a burger though.
