Enjoyed all of our appetizers. Restaurant on second floor of building and the stairs are steep. Lunch was good.
The place is in a Grand Opening and on the second floor of the building. If you have any difficulty with stairs or require help the restaurant is worth the climb to eat.
The atmosphere is quite with lots of pictures from the last century on the walls, very enjoyable to look at and appreciate the history of China Town.
I'm definitely recommending eating here. There was three of us eating. We had the San Francisco special which was $25.00 per person.
The quality and the quantity is well worth the price.
There is a parking garage across the street from the restaurant for easy walking.
The location is super cute, nice tiny balcony seating available, and the service was fast and polite. It’s not fancy food, and it’s kinda rushed, but it’s tasty and the overall experience is enjoyable, if a bit touristy and cheesy. HOWEVER - the bill came with a bunch of surprise charges, they forgot two of our included appetizers (which they did furnish upon request). But the bill - they had an unannounced “SF Mandate” fee - which is not a mandate but is the slimy way some restaurants have tried to protest being required to provide minimal healthcare to their staff. Which is fine, if a bit deceptive, if you have it posted on the menu beforehand. But you can’t just invent fees after the fact. They also decided to INCLUDE the tip (again, fine if you say it upfront but not okay if you quietly put it as an unlabeled item on the scrawled bill.) I have no problem tipping, the service was good. But when I brought up the bill issues they were very dismissive talking over me rapidly and loudly “THANK YOU THANK PAY WHAT YOU WANT THANK YOU JUST PAY WHAT YOU WANT THANK YOU THANK YOU” which was very very rude. All in all, I don’t think they are *trying* to cheat anyone - I accidentally paid an extra $5 cash and the woman who I paid ran over to find me to give it back. But it was a very off putting experience at the end which is a shame because up until then we enjoyed it for what it is, a cute location and serviceable food (the spicy beef was quite tasty).
A very entertaining meal. The staff were super fast when they ran past our table over and over again.
The free snacks were delectable. The cheez-it/Cheeto hybrid kept us alive while we waited over 45 minutes for food.
Whenever we asked for water, they would point outside and indeed there was water on the street. We finished our meals and went to the street, where we found water. ????
Great place safe easy to get to clean restrooms great food!!!
*SCAM ALERT* The food was okay the waiting time was very long. They added 3 taxes which I had to pay over 32 dollars.
Two of the taxes were San Francisco taxes and the other one was a covid 19 taxes.
TIP ALERT. If you don't mention a tip in the receipt, they'll definitely fill in the blank and charge you! So make sure you mention what you wanna do about it or get surprised when you check your transaction statement.
Prices were slightly on the expensive side averaging around 15$ a dish, drinks around 4$.
Food was okay but nothing special that'll make you want to come again. My friend who came with me didn't really enjoy the soft crab.
Ambience was good. But due to the open balconies, don't be surprised if a mosquito suddenly flies in to irritate you.
Do not eat at this place Please! They steal from you we went here with my family the bill came out to 900+ just in drinks they said it came out to $92 this was soda cans (coke and sprite) one hot tea which they said was $10 and a water bottle. We questioned it and literally stayed and went over all the math with them. Even with their prices for just the drinks at the amount of 3.50 per drink and $10 for the hot tea it came out to 60 not 90. They tried to say it was a mistake, then we went r over the menu it still made no sense they said they charged us family pricing not what was on the menu which also doesn’t make sense but even in giving them that they were off about huge amount the “taxes” were also done wrong even off of their original
Amount … we ended up finding over $300 in “mistakes” on top of the fact that they charged my dad the $900+ said the card declined and it still took it from my dads account and then even with the $700 we paid it was still stealing we weee just trying not to miss out on the rest of our trip but please just don’t go here!
