Best WLM Reviews

We really enjoyed this place. We went for Bingo in a Thursday and it was fun. The owner came over to welcome us. They have many cakes and pies that are baked on site. Drinks were good. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great spot! I had the breakfast burrito, and my wife had the country-fried steak. We also ordered some cheese curds. The coffee was tasty, and the rest of the food was delicious. The country-fried steak and fried cheese curds were fried perfectly. :) The breakfast burrito was also well made and a pretty significant portion! Finally, the home fries were well seasoned. We will be coming back to try more items on the menu.
So we stopped by your try this place for the first time today.
It has great potential but it lacks a few things to be great.
They don’t offer grits for one.
They also don’t offer three eggs!
It’s either two or four!
I am a little confused!
At any rate you should try it!
The desserts look amazing and maybe they offer the tallest cake I have yet to see.
They are in the Bradlee shopping center off of King street.
I will go back and explore further.
Hopefully they read this and become a little more flexible in their offerings!
There is stiff competition nearby!
I in fact asked for three eggs, I was told the only option which is also the only option on the menu was 2 or 4.
You need to fix the menu and inform your staff if in fact 3 eggs are an option please.
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Alexandria, Virginia, look no further than Beeline Diner. From the moment me and my sister stepped through the doors, we were swept up in an atmosphere that perfectly blends nostalgia with modern sophistication. The old classic music was so inviting. But it wasn't just the ambiance that made our visit remarkable; it was the exceptional service we received that truly set Beeline Diner apart.
Our servers, David and Jeff, were the epitome of professionalism and warmth. David greeted us with a smile that instantly made us feel welcomed, and his recommendations from the menu were spot-on, guiding us through an array of delicious choices. Jeff's attention to detail didn't go unnoticed either; he ensured our glasses were never empty and our table was always neat, all while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.
The food, oh the food! It was a culinary journey that delighted our taste buds at every turn. Each dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavors that are both familiar and excitingly new. The chefs at Beeline Diner clearly know their craft, and their passion for food shines through in every dish served.
But what truly sets Beeline Diner apart is the seamless teamwork between David and Jeff. Their coordination and genuine care for our dining experience were evident, making our meal not just a dinner but a memorable event. It's rare to find such dedicated and enthusiastic staff who can make dining out feel like a celebration.
In conclusion, Beeline Diner is not just a restaurant; it's a destination. Whether you're a local or just passing through Alexandria, this gem is not to be missed. Thanks to David, Jeff, and the entire team at Beeline Diner, I'm already looking forward to my next visit. They've not just earned my highest recommendation; they've won a loyal customer.
A diner that opens up at 7 and serves drinks? That's a smoked peach old fashioned. You can get breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast. The sampler was great. The beeline burrito was delicious. Oh that's a tower cake they had to cut it in half.
Beeliner Diner is a great spot to meet up with friends for a meal or even a date night! The menu is eclectic enough, that there's something for every palette. They also have a good selection of local beers on tap, and decent cocktails! It's also super spacious with plenty of seating, so there's less of a chance of having to wait a while for a table. The service is also great!
The only downside is that the prices are a little higher than you would expect to pay at a traditional diner, and there are a few "classic diner" foods missing on the menu. For example, you won't find the two eggs (any style) with bacon, toast and hash browns on the breakfast menu. So, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a traditional, cheap, greasy, diner type of meal. But, if you're looking to try a delicious meal with a fun diner vibe, this is the place for you! Especially on Thursday nights, Bingo night, when you can win free menu items and gift cards!
Just moved into the area and decided to try this place out with friends for brunch. The space is really cool. I wasn’t expecting it to be a bar and diner. Super cool. It is definitely bee themed (obviously) and they go ALL out from the silverware, decorating, glassware etc. The food was actually really good. They have a lot of stuff I definitely want to try so I will bee….”pun intended” back.
Edit: This place is truly a gem and the staff here is so amazing and almost like family when we come. I come as often as I can. This place is a MUST if nearby. Make sure to make time in your busy bee schedules!
After work today I decided to have lunch at the BeeLiner Diner. This is my first dine-in meal there and, to be honest, I enjoyed it. I had the Vegan Burrito, with a Root Beer, and a Key Lime Pie. All the food was and tasty. The service was perfect. The waitress was neither too slow nor too fast. I didn’t have to wait nor did I feel like she was hovering.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, thought the hive shaped lights were amusing, and the music brought back memories from the 80’s and 90’s.
I even liked the fact that they had paper straws. And the ease of paying the bill, with no paper waste, was also a plus.
Menu may seem small but I feel it had a good amount of variety. Breakfast all day is always welcomed. Five out of five.
If you want to try out the deals for the Alexandria Restaurant Week they are only available during the evenings.
Update - portions slightly smaller lately, and the staff seems to be slow even when the restaurant is empty. Down to four.
