Best WLM Reviews
This is a great sports bar with a small front entrance opening on a surprisingly large room. Past the bar along the right wall is a REAR ENTRANCE with additional parking in the back. I love that.
My cheeseburger medium rare with fries and 1/2 sweet tea was straight up on point. Objectively, I think it’s about as good as this often overlooked,over-cooked, and under appreciated traditional bar fair can be. Nothing fancy, just a little perfect.
I usually prefer smaller family restaurants but this place is excellent. I came here yesterday for a burger and it was so good, so I returned today for Taco Tuesdays. Just as good. Also very reasonably priced and the waitresses were so kind and attentive. I'll be back more often.
Update: Back for the 3rd time on Friday, 4/19 for the fish & chips. Triple hit. ⚾️ No strikes. Very good ???? ???? ????
Update: Cheryl one of the managers responded immediately. I explained the issues in detail and our dismay for yo Ho order mistakes. She told me to come in and see her. Well, we went there for lunch yesterday and made things right. She apologized profusely and told me anytime there’s an issue to contact her and she’ll take care of it. She went above and beyond and took great care of us!!
Good lord. Just brought a burger home. Ordered with no pickles. I gave you one job. No pickles. Guess what 5 pickles. Now The burger tastes like pickles. Who’s cooking? There was just under a full jar of mayo on my burger. It got all over everything. FFS how hard is it to make a burger. I think this cook is trying to make his burgers sloppier than a whopper. Pretty much a ring toss game with the tomatoes and 2 tiny slivers of onion.
Disappointing.
However the burger meat itself was cooked to perfection.
Love the coleslaw but come on, a ketchup or blue cheese container of Cole slaw? It should be at least twice the size that comes with it. What are we looking at here, 30 cents worth of product total? Step it up Beefs!
And where did my points go? Do they expire? I had 254 points and they were all gone. I was incapacitated for the last 6 weeks and I guess I got robbed!!! Shame on you Beefs.
Great neighborhood sports bar with a relaxed and casual atmosphere and plenty of TVs. It seems like they do a great job at keeping games on. I haven’t seen things like syndicated shows playing after a basketball game on cable, which means they do a good job of managing multiple screens screens and keeping sports on all TVs. It’s a little thing that matters to me. I’ve also never had an issue getting the game I want on a nearby TV if the game I want is available, which is kind of the whole point for me.
Service at the bar fast and friendly. Sometimes it’s possible to hear conversations from the kitchen line and service alley, which isn’t ideal BUT I’ve also never heard anything negative or inappropriate. I used to be in service, so this honestly feels like a small miracle.
The food is what it should be, the prices are reasonable, and it’s a great casual place to catch a game or just be social without being stuffy.
I’ve been a half dozen times in the last year or so and have never had an issue with service or quality. It’s nice when things just work like they should consistently. Definitely a first choice for my husband and I to grab a game, a drink, and a meal.
I very seldom give 5 stars because there is usually always room for improvement, but not this time! All 5 stars were earned and deserved!
We arrived after 8 pm celebrating 2 graduates with a party of 11. We had called moments earlier to see if we could bring a store bought cake in.(yes, was the answer) We were given the heads up that there was only one server and that there was already 2 large parties, one of which had just walked in. Knowing our group would not be demanding and had no time crunch, we decided to go anyway. Our server Kayla was fantastic! She showed no frustration, and she had already pulled tables together for us preparation. Our food came out quickly, all with correct temperatures and very tasty! We were told that it had been quiet all day and that Kayla had just sent the other server home when the first 11 arrived, to have the next 22 of us to follow within the hour. With just a bartender and a server they not only took great care of us, but also cleaned every table off without missing a beat to keep our drinks full. We shared our cake with them and tried not to leave with too much of a mess to clean up. We will come back to this location again, for sure! This is the location by the Dollar Tree in the Walmart Marketplace/Hobby Lobbyy Plaza on Little and Ridge.
My residents enjoyed themselves, and the server was very pleasant. The meals were delicious. Nice atmosphere. I recommend coming here.
$20 for rap nachos ,months later and still can’t get it right. Thought I’d try again surely they fixed the issues. Steak nachos came steak, chips, tomato, cheese. Still no jalapeño, no salsa no sour crème i guess lettuce is not included. 20x the chips needed for the meal. Beefs corporate does not care about quality control Service has gone way down hill at this location in the past 2 years steak nachos no jalapeño had to go back in to get my to go tea with lemon where they decided to give me a tea with the lemon on top of the lid and open a straw for me this is the norm for the times we live in. To much to ask for things to be prepared correctly. I need to start inspecting my to go orders before leaving tips just to get home and be disappointed. Had to lower my review yet another disappointing delivery nachos still have no jalapeños even though I left a bad review about this last time. This time no lettuce or anything and cheese looks gross. Also forgot side broccoli n
Great neighborhood bar / restaurant. The food can be a little inconsistent. I've had great meals, and I've had meals that are too salty, or bland and tasteless. The good news is that the prices are always reasonable.
