This is definitely a Portland staple and be prepared to wait by the water for this wonderful place. It was well worth the wait. The people were amazing and everyone was super friendly. They had the same affinity for Costco and were wanting to go there with us.
We had the breakfast sandwich, waffles fries, mozzarella sticks and the big breakfast meal. We were waiting long enough to hit lunch so we started with mozzarella sticks, because we are adults. The breakfast sandwich was economical and very tasty.
10/10 would recommend and would go back. The bathrooms were also a 4/5 according the most educated bathroom critic.
Perfect service and I loved my lobster melt with the sweet potato fries. One huge complaint and I mean huge.
The portion sizes are massive and the food is so good you can’t stop eating. Because of that I didn’t have space for their whoopee pie cake that looks incredible. Guess I’ll just have to go back.
Don’t walk to Becky’s, run. It’s fantastic.
Onion rings were not crispy. New England Clam Chowder was ALL potatoes and very bland. The Lobster Roll was very under seasoned. The garlic butter served on the side had no garlic flavor. Location is nice and staff is very nice. I would not recommend.
Fantastic place for brunch! Reasonable price, friendly service, clean environment and great food! Really liked the retro diner decor.
Tried their lobster rolls, it’s scrumptious and fresh, the side fries are fresh from the fryer, hot and crispy! Really enjoyed their chocolate milk shake as well, it’s not overly sweet, with whipped cream and swirls of chocolate sauce on top. Saw other tables ordered fried seafood and blueberry pancakes, all looked really delicious!
It’s a worth awhile stop driving along 95! Can take a walk around the Old Port and wharf afterwards.
Becky's Diner is an eating spot popular with the locals that didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is unpretentious and the food was tasty. We had lobster rolls which were served with generous amounts of lobster. The service was a highlight of our visit with a friendly and attentive waitress. I recommend Becky's Diner. If I lived closer I would be a regular.
My first time visiting from out of state and without a doubt the best lobster I’ve ever had! This is a charming diner with cool atmosphere nice waitstaff and right on the docks. Had the lobster bisque and a lobster roll, so good!
Give it a 3.5 stars. It wasn't busy early in the morning, and we got a table right away. The must-have was egg Benedict with lobster and wild blueberries pancake. Lots of chuck lobster meat. Wish the egg yolks were a bit more runny. The homefries came with the lobster eggs benedict needed plenty of seasoning. The wild blueberries pancake was good-sized. Plenty of blueberries and the syrup with the pancake wasn't too sweet. We got the haddock chowder small sized. It was pretty bland. Service was quick. The people that works there are really friendly. Definitely come back again.
Wow not a fancy place, but damn good home cooking seafood right on the water. Parking lot, free plus more in the back. The best Maine potatoes chips, Lobster, wow!!! What a lobster roll!!
