So disappointed STILL a couple of weeks ago I called BEFORE hand to make sure they could do the hair style I wanted and made an appointment to get faux locs. The owners daughter confirmed she can do them for $200 which to me was pricey, but I still made the appointment to go get it done. When I got there I waited over an hr just for her to arrive to get started on my head, mind you I made an appt 3 days prior. Thinking maybe they’ll take some money off for me waiting and not complaining because things happen, but NO! While she’s doing them I realized the hair wasn’t being locked to stay in place and asked about unraveling, and she stated it would be fine. I wanted it shorter in which I showed her a picture and she stated she could do it and cut the ends as if she’s done this before! Unfortunately I can tell she has had no experience with this hairstyle before, I got home and they all unraveled BADLY. I had to go back the next day just for them to burn the ends AND the WHOLE loc just for them to be hard and crunchy and ruined the whole purpose of the hairstyle. A waste of $200 when they could of openly stated they didn’t have experience on doing this hairstyle or couldn’t do it at all. I always get my hair done (not here) but another place for around the same price and it last longer than 1 week especially for that amount spent. It’s crazy that I went here in high hopes that they could do the hairstyle they confirmed they could and it came out absolutely horrendous! People don’t spend their money on their hair for people to play in it and lie about their knowledge on doing a hairstyle if you can’t do it PLEASE LET YOUR CLIENTS KNOW THAT so they can go elsewhere or pick a style you can ACTUALLY do! SO DISAPPOINTED.
The braiding was immaculate. However the 4 hours that it took wasn't worth it for a simple crochet. My hair was fuzzy before I left the shop and she didn't add enough hair in the back. I had to go home and add hair to the back to fill in missed spots. I still tipped her. It was an experience
Been going to Bebe for years ! She’s very attentive, and extremely sweet and family oriented. You are treated like more than just money - you are treated with kindness , which goes a long way in business.
My daughter has been getting knot less braids from them and they come out absolutely perfect!
My own bohemian braids are so beautiful that I’ll be going to Bebe all summer to get them . Thank you to Bebe and the other sweet stylists there . You are appreciated .
Bebe was so friendly and helpful, and suggested a wig for my friend to try on because her hair is thinning big time. The wig looked great and unfortunately miss Bebe could only accept cash that day so I had to go make a withdrawal from the ATM.she also has great sleep caps for people like me who have very long thick hair
As a white boy I expect a couple looks hanging out in an African braid shop. But that’s all, my money’s green and I’m a hell of a tipper. This one heavy set women did a good job in my braids, but she didn’t say one word to me. She talked on the phone From start to finish speaking in her native language. The other women was nice to me, and spoke up to heavy set because I was trying to thank her but she just ignored me. I understand language barrier, but I also understand people just being rude. I usually tip $20 but I still gave her $10. Not even a thank you. The women who seemed to be running the show was respectful, courteous, and professional. The other girl that did my braids didn’t take 2 seconds to thank me. Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she didn’t like me. I’ll never know.
I decided to give these amazing woman a chance to braid my hair although it's not the usual place I get my hair extensions done at but I'm more than pleased with the decision I made! The women greeted me with a smile, allowed me to have ample time to decide what style and color I wanted in my hair, they also took their time to ensure the braids came out amazing. Bebe's African Hair Braiding Salon has earned my business any time. Keep up the good work ladies you rock
The service was great and my hair never looked better. And they have a TV in a place you can see while waiting or getting your hair done. There is even a place to get food across the street. You are allowed to eat in this place. Unless you are vaccinated masks are required.. Highly recommended if you want to look beautiful/handsome.
Really don’t like my hair. The heavy set lady is heavy handed. She sits pushes your head and body. Then she had me holding hair and dividing it. I DO NOT WORK THERE.
