Moved to the area today, needed food and it just happens to be Mother’s Day. They went above and beyond for Mother’s Day. This is the large wet burrito (needed left overs which is easily 2 days worth) pizza was better than the pizzeria across the street (we had that place when we looked at our new place). They gave out flowers and ice cream sandwiches to moms. Doreen was our waitress, very nice and prompt.
Haven't been here for a couple years. Great renovation. Friendly staff. Food came quickly. Reasonable prices. Small chicken burrito was huge but delicious. Enchilada platter was good. Pizza soup was different but good.
So my family and I are not from the area. We happen to be very hungry after. Going to a pumpkin patch near by and wanted to have a good dinner together before parting ways we settled on this restaurant and as we walked in. It was doing fairly well. And we found a table for the 6 of us right away. We where met very promptly and with great joy from our serving staff. And will definitely say. Amazing time and atmosphere. Our server was on point with out food drinks and needs. 5 stars over and over again an the food was absolutely delicious and boy so much food. And the price I feel. Was perfect for what we received.
SUPER DUPER HIGHLY RECOMMEND If you stop make sure to have an appetite. I use to go here all the time when I lived there but it has been quite a while since I have been there. I had heard different owners and such have taken place so was worried the food wouldn't be the same. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED the famous Burritos are the same including the size!!!!! I love the update to the inside, it looks amazing! The large bar and the garage door is awesome. We will definitely be back soon. This was my dad's favorite spot and he always bought hats. Oh, the burrito in the picture is only a "small" and we split it. They even did half chicken and half hamburger.
It is great to see the restaurant open again. The service was outstanding and they did a fantastic job on the remodel, which is what my 4 stars are based on. I do think they are pricy but everywhere seems to be anymore. The food was good, some meals better than others. I would love to see them bring back the chips appetizer that came with salsa and queso dip over the new appetizer with chips and white cheese sauce. Thank you to ownership for investing locally - we will be back to support you!
The last 2 times I've been here, I have ordered the Mexican spaghetti. It is by far my favorite dish. The picante sauce is a must have if you are eating the Mexican spaghetti. I am in love with it, haha.
Went to Beaverton Tavern for St Patrick's Day and had a great night. Regardless of how busy they were, and they were very busy, the waitress was amazing and attentive. The food was awesome, as well as the beer! Will definitely be back!
UGH! Where do I begin?
Our Server was "Rhonda G" according to our Bill. She never introduced herself to us. Took FOREVER for her to bring chips and salsa the hostess ended up bringing it to us and brought us a refill. Over a ½ hour for her to come take our orders for food, wouldn't answer my questions on the menu just snapped at me that the k" kitchen couldn't do that" (I was asking for JUST chicken tenders because we were ordering a big pan of the chilli cheese fries to share for our side. ) so I got plain fries with my tenders. Put the order in 26 minutes after she took it from us. Took the tables order next to us after ours they got their food before us, and it was more complex.
I ask for the bill (only thing that came in a timely manner) it was $38.46 I gave her $40 in the form of 2 $20 bills. She gave me $1.29 back.
Still trying to figure out where my other quarter went. Should have been $1.54 in change. I waited for her to return to the table so I could ask but after 10 minutes decided it wasn't worth my time. So I left NO TIP.
Food SUCKS his burger and my tenders were over cooked. The honey mustard sauce tasted like fish. Chilli cheese fries were ALL GREASE!
10/10 would NOT recommend! Definitely NOT worth the $40! There's an A&W JUST up the road. Could have gotten the same food for ½ the cost with FAR BETTER SERVICE!
We do not drink, and we're not enjoying ourselves waiting an hour+ for food with rumbly bellies.
