We stopped for appetizers and drinks, staff and patrons are friendly and welcoming. Just was disappointed that they didn't have a lot of appetizers in stock. I think the bartender might have been new as well, friendly and all but didn't know what was and wasn't available in the kitchen. We had fun picking out "beaver" attire.
Food was good! Very fast getting the food as well. Def wish their menu had funnier food names for the name of the bar. But all together was very good
Excellent broasted chicken, really liked the mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing. Next time I'm going to ask for extra taters , gravy and stuffing , it was so good.
Local and last three times coming to beaver bar sucked!!!!!!! No atmosphere!!!! Bartenders are not personalable!!! Place is going down hill!!!! High prices and no personality sux!!!
This place is a nice little stop on the way up north. We had their Friday fish fry; my husband had the perch and I had the shrimp skewers - it was all amazing! Jamie was our server and she was delightful :) We will be back!
Great country tavern! Amazing food, one of my favorite places for fish fry!
Drove past this place all my life and never stopped. Today was the day and I was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I had the Sunday chicken special and it was delicious and very inexpensive. I will be stopping again.
Warm beer, service was bad and food was terrible. I asked for a cup of ice for my warm beer. The guy behind the bar said the cooler had been down and was trying to keep up. If that's the case tell me that when I ordered my beer I then would have ordered a drink with ice instead. I never did get the cup of ice. Took forever to order food. People that sat down after us got waited on first. We had to go ask for our order to be taken. Potato pancakes were completely raw. "Grilled" Chicken sandwich was a boiled chicken breast that was very bland and the bun was half the size of the chicken breast. Walleye had no flavor either. Very disappointed, I doubt we will be back.
