I moved to Florence from Connecticut and googled "Dominican Hair Salons." I knew that to take my natural hair I needed a salon that could do it right! I was so excited the day of my appointment and could not wait to get my hair done.
My hair gets so thick and matted at the roots and I have to wet my hair just to get the comb through it. Whenever I blow dry and straighten my hair I can never get it as straight and I usually sweat it out before the day ends.... It is day 2 now, I have sweat and my hair still has the bounce and shine. I wrapped it last night to keep it from drawing up.
I am so happy with my results and plan to make this salon my regular place for hair care. I plan to return for coloring and a trim.
Aurora is a kind person who is very knowledgeable in her field and offers great conversation and hospitality.
The shop is clean, spacious and well decorated and this all provides a great, relaxing climate to get pampered and pretty.
I am so glad I found this place, I felt right at home and I love my hair!
I called last minute to get my hair cut, and they were quick to take me in. The older gentleman cut and styled my hair and it looks the best it has in years. He was very precise and took his time to make sure it was perfect! He was very nice and respectful, felt like talking to an old friend. All I have to say is I will definitely be back!
Ms. Aura did an awesome job on my hair! She washed, deep conditioned and did a blow out! Results are amazing! I am natural and have VERY thick hair and she went through it like it was no problem at all! Thank you so much!
Very pleasant experience for me on a weekend getaway for my friend’s wedding. TJ hooked me up to the T. Right on point with unmatched service. Not often you have someone who is a master at what they do service you on a walk in.

This was my first time coming here for a blowout. I’m transitioning to being natural. This isn’t my first blow out, but when I get my ends trimmed I usually still like my hair and my hair is always still past my neck. Shirley cut way too much of my hair off and she had it styled like an old woman. Now my hair is halfway around my neck. I was not satisfied with my hair.
Excellent service and professionalism! I started doing my hair with Aura on 2016 when I moved to Florence. The work she does in your hair is really good. I recently start with a hair loss problem and she found me a product to dye my hair that wasn’t that harmful to my scalp. This is the type of Beautician that actually cares about you and the healthiness of your scalp instead of just doing a job to make money. Totally recommend her!!
