I purchased an adult tricycle and didn’t trust myself with the brake line and chain. This was the best experience I have ever had. Knowledgeable, kind, and a great communicator. If you are in town or out of town and need assistance with your bike, stop by Beaufort Bicycle.

Steve is terrific! Very professional; knows bikes inside and out. Been going to Steve for about 16 years for all our bike needs. Steve was very accommodating and highly entertaining. Affordable rates. Great selection of bikes and an added bonus was the opportunity to drive his dog, Daisy Duke, around in the bicycles basket! Beaufort bikes for the win! ????????♀️????
Steve, the owner, is great. I called for us to rent bikes, and Steve gave us a very good price for the day, and delivered our bikes to us in ten minutes! He stayed there to make sure the bikes were comfortable for us. When we we ready to give the bikes back, he came to our hotel to pick them up within minutes. A very nice experience!
Beaufort Bicycle, is a little like their bikes: funky and fun, and all the cooler for the rust. The bikes handled great and had a lot of character. The other rental place in town turned us down for riding bikes after 5PM citing insurance, but Beaufort hooked us up with no problems. It was an easy two blocks to the water from there. We had a great dinner on the boardwalk watching the sun set, and then biked back to the shop in the twilight. It was really lovely.
We rented bikes from Beaufort Bicycle before moving to Beaufort, officially. The service was affordable and top notch. Steve brought the bike to us, and picked it up.
Having moved to Beaufort now, my personal beach cruiser broke, something on the back wheel, and couldn't budge. Hubs and I Googled and found that Beaufort bicycle repairs also, so we drove to him and we were pleasantly surprised to see Steve, who we rented from before. He fixed the bike in 5 minutes, and was super affordable! Note, he only takes cash, so be prepared for that.
So happy with our experience and happy to know that he is in town and so close and convenient when needed.
