Best WLM Reviews
One of the few boba stores on el camino. Located right next to 99 chicken.
Overall nice ambiance very southeast asian vibes with a cool neon and foresty sitdown area. Lots of seating and has a lot of fruit teas.
We got the ube matcha latte and it was very unique in flavor.
Their menu is filled with a lot of variety that it is hard to single out which one, but it seems like they use fresh fruit since u can see them on the store front.
Would def recommend if ur in the area!
WOW Been here a few times now and truly enjoyed coming here every time! Delicious Snacks Options includes some of my favorites: Paandan Waffles, Ube Waffles, Garlic Fries, Waffles Fries, pot Stickers, Popcorn Chicken, Seasoned Calamari, egg rolls and Fish Tempura.
My favorite boba drinks here are Ube Lattes, Organic Jasmine Tea boba, Passion Fruit tea, and so much refreshing Smoothies Options! So great especially in the warm summer weather!
Found this place while going for lunch. They have many choice of boba tea drink, fresh fruit juice, and slushy. Some of the drinks are 24 oz. The price is reasonable. I think any add-on topping is about 75 cents. We had soursop punch and sour of my life with 25pct sweetness. They are good. It is very seldom to find soursop drink. We enjoyed our visit. The owner is very friendly. Beside drink they also have banh mi, snack like fries, waffles, and interestingly fried chicken gizzard.
Holy mother of portions.
Discovered this little hidden gem while I was on a date with someone nearby and we were looking for a place to grab dessert. Since then, I think Beastea has become a go-to for good food and boba, and the fact they're open until 10pm is a huge plus. They also offer wifi for those who want to come to work or study while enjoying their drinks. I would frequently come here with another friend for our study sessions since no other boba place with food would be open as late around the area.
The place is Viet-owned and the auntie who takes orders (I think she's also the owner of the place?) is very kind and accommodating towards customers. I think she recognized that we were frequent patrons during on of our study sessions and once offered me and my friend free samples of panda waffles. That was super sweet. They tend to take on the longer side to make drinks, but it's not too big of a deal for me personally since their drinks are always very consistent and tasty.
They have a MASSIVE collection of specialty drinks, which is amazing given the small scale of the shop, and is maybe one of the few places I found around South Bay that offers a mangonada drink. I am a huge fan of their assorted fruit drinks - but I do agree with the other reviewers that they lean on the sweeter side. 50% sweetness and regular ice seems to be the perfect sweet spot for these drinks. Their boba is a bit on the chewier side, but very nicely cooked and seasoned. Aside from their fruit teas, I would also recommend the Ube Latte - which has a nice subtle hint of ube. My friend also really enjoyed their Mangonada and Strawberry Shortcake drinks.
In terms of snacks, really generous portion that is pretty much unrivaled anywhere else given the price. Their popcorn chicken is enough to stuff you for dinner if you're hungry enough (and perfect enough to satisfy 2 people), and their fries portion can probably last you a few meals if you split them up. I really like that they leave the fried basil leaves in the popcorn chicken, which adds to the nicely spiced flavor. I have also tried their sweet potato fries (another favorite) and their fishball snacks (also good!), which were all well-seasoned. The only snack I tried that I wasn't a fan of was the calamari, which tasted slightly undercooked at the time and the batter wasn't crunchy enough to my liking. Maybe that was just a one-off.
Was very stoked to find them on Uber Eats, since now I can finally enjoy their offerings from home.
Best boba I've had in a long time. Great service and real drinks, not just syrup tastes like real fruit! ???????????? Super yummy fish balls too ???? My new go to spot for sure!
It’s a decent place for some snacks and boba.
Mango smoothie was good
Vietnamese coffee was very bitter but decent.
Popcorn chicken could have been better.
Fried garlic were tasting very stale in the popcorn chicken.
Also it was not very crispy and fresh.
Loved the popcorn chicken and smoothies! Very fresh and huge cute cups and the store itself is super aesthetically pleasing, great for pics.
Love the smoothies and the ube latte. For me it taste like the real ingredients not just powder. Friendly staff feels like home. Love to come back. My new go to boba shop. ????????
