FANTASTIC!
I love Cuban Sandwiches and really like this sandwich here. I suggest the pressed Cuban. ???? I also suggest adding pork to the sandwich which comes with an extra small fee. Cuban sandwiches are all made different and this one is very good overall.
There are no combos. Add chips & a drink which is a must. They also have iced tea but there is a fee for refills so order a large if you are thirsty!
Call in tour orders ahead of time to save time. The atmosphere is old school with a nice quaint feel. They do take cash or cards! Bathrooms are clean!

My review… Rude customer service with below average sandwiches! Employees are very unhelpful and seem annoyed just because you are there. First time customer and I could not get any recommendation on what to try. Was told if I didn‘t know what to order to ” just order a Cuban” Called me out rudely to the customer that came in after me because I was still deciding on what I wanted. Ended up buying an over priced sandwich on regular bread that could have came from anywhere else for half the price and better customer service!
Ms Berta is very friendly an nice however paying for pork which is supposed come on Cuban is crazy the meats were salty the ham an salami an the pork sliced very thin may try in future but I'll stick with my reg Cuban shop
It was my first time there,My coworker told me about this place..I ask for a Cuban sandwich with pork added,I got a sandwich with just ham no pork at all it taste just like a regular sandwich that I make at home..I also ask for onions to be added and didn’t get that either.. If you just want a plan ole sandwich then this is the place for you as for me,I’ll save my money..2 stars for freshly made plan sandwiches..
This little sandwich shop has a long time following and for good reason. Laughter is served alongside really good sandwiches. We love Berta!
I can’t believe that I’ve lived in Tampa for over 20 years but never knew about this little gem. My Ruben was wonderful and the service was so neat. Funny light heated and courteous. Come check them out. Ms Berta had me cracking up. I will be a regular for sure!
Never been here before decided to stop by one day for lunch however as walked in the door there seemed to be some kind of confrontation between A customer and an employee fron the barber shop next door as I was walking in to get in line to order. The employee of the barber shop next door was clearly very angry at this customer about where they had parked and he was telling the employee making the sandwiches about how angry he and how rude this customer was that's when their anger turned towards me when they scowled at me wanting to know if I was with him. I looked at them, shocked as I said no, and they looked at me like I was lying and at that point, unsure if i had parked incorrectly too and certainly did not feel welcome. So I walked right out of that establishment. My time and money it too valuable to be treated in that way. Hope they take a lesson in first impressions and treating potential paying customers with kindness. I was buying lunch to bring home to my family. Someone else will get my money.
The food was excellent, Berta is extra sassy which adds to the atmosphere, and you get to support small biz!
