This was my 1st experience.
Good things: Food was hot, quick service, bbq sauce good, good potato salad
Things for improvement: mac n cheese was bland, the ribs (seemed like spare ribs)were small in size ,a bit chewy, and also flavorless.
Maybe I came too late in the day... B/c it seems to be black owned, I'll give them another try.
Best homemade hamburgers I've had in a long time. Everything was hot & fresh. Asked for crispy fries! They were perfect! Thanks Beartrap BbQ!
LOVE the rib plate. It was so good. It was a nice day so we just sat out back to eat. I'd definitely eat there again. It was worth every dime.
We loved this place! Got the pulled pork sandwich and it was possibly the best one I have ever had. The mac and cheese was great and everyone in our car loved their order also. Staff was super friendly and generous.
The Bear Trap BBQ food is horrible, tasty, quality, and quantity. My order was messed up, and I had to go back after work. And play phone tag with several people. If you want some good barbecue, do it yourself. I wouldn't recommend this place. The order was fixed but not season on greens nor potato salad, just bland.
Omg, the ribs were extremely undercooked for ribs! They were so tough and hard to take off the bone. If you want a chiseled jawline eat here daily. They're also over-smoked. I washed my hands three times since eating them and my hands still smell like smoke. The baked beans were okay and mac n cheese was kinda bland. Oh, and the wait for the food was long. I hate leaving one star reviews but I leave honest reviews so that businesses can take the criticism and adjust as they see fit and hopefully stay in business because it has to be a dream of theirs.
Let me start this by saying, this is the very first bad review I’ve ever written for a restaurant.
My boyfriend just dropped over $40 on the most inedible bbq takeout we’ve ever had. First off, they left the silver skin on the ribs (rookie mistake), and they were so tough I couldn’t even chew them. They didn’t include the Mac and cheese we ordered/paid for. I would have been fine, but the sides they did include were so small, and the beans tasted like chemicals- so I couldn’t eat that either. I’m soooo sad cause I live really close, and would have became a regular customer.
I went through the drive thru.The food was bland taste like the wood it was cooked with.Cook should learn the art of seasoning his food. I definitely want be going back.
