We had the best girl date night last night here. The ambiance, the food, the service, all the touches were divine. Paulina was incredible and so personable. Honestly the best night. The elk tenderloin was 20/10. The fondue was super yummy and the sirloin with peppercorn sauce was chefs kiss. Didn’t have room for dessert but serious this spot you must try!!! Can’t stop recommending!!
The Bear Den in Aspen is so intimate and comforting, amazing food and atmosphere. Smells amazing, everyone so friendly from meeting the owner Alia to our server the 2nd day Allan, definitely a must-go when visiting Aspen
I have been coming to Bear Den since the beginning in 2020. They always make me feel like I’m at home and absolutely love everybody that works there! The food and ambiance is superb! The gondola sandwich is my favorite and if I get there before you, you probably won’t see the home baked pastries ????! So yum! ????
I’m really in awe of the atmosphere, service and warm welcome we received from the staff, specially from Danny. She immediately realized we were Spanish speakers and switched to our language making us feel welcome! The food is amazing, but the drinks… out of this world! If you go, try the Purple Haze, it’s a delicious woody creek select gyn with blackberries, pineapple and more.
It was a pleasure to be there, and have Danny at the bar. This is a must if you are in Aspen!
Lovely place very cozy and The food was excellent. We order two Continental breakfasts and a Palmera for dessert. Really nice
Food was underwhelming and wayyyy overpriced. Service was eh, we just didn't really feel welcomed. Regardless, we ate food here, and it wasn't awful, just okay.
We were entered here by attracting the store's exterior. The seat outside was comfortable with fluffy cushions. The service was great and the staff was friendly!
We ordered half a dozen oysters and asparagus saute. The asparagus was a little bit thin but the egg on top was a good combination!

The food is very very good. They have outside seating for dogs with heating lamps, and the chef even made chicken for our dogs! This is pretty much the only place you can eith your dogs even in the evening. Very pleasant atmosphere and staff. The lady from Germany is amazing!
