We paid 12$ for a parking lot. Nice place. Beach with exit to water. On Saturday 2 pm it became really crowded. Only thing - was a bit dirty because of fallen trees
Love to come here on my bike ride, to stop and relax and hang out by the beach or along the shoreline and take in the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Plenty of trees for shade, along with picnics tables near the shore, lots of parking spots and clean bathrooms. Watch out for rattlesnakes that I've seen on a couple of occasions laying out among the rock formations and on the trail.
Folsom Lake at Beals Point pictures. Lake is 92% full but some unmarked hazards just below water surface. Nice day for kayaking 07/08/19.
We usually come to Beals point for the camping, we love it!
Beautiful spot for outdoor campers and a picnics for families. Kids enjoyed the water, there was life guards on dury and the water was nice for kids for all ages.

The Lake and River are absolutely awesome but be extremely careful especially when the water is up like it is now Folsom and Sacramento Water Rescue have as of last week already had to perform more water rescues than all of last Summer and Summer doesn't even officially start for 3 more weeks

And Remember To Watch For Rattle Snakes The Will Bite And Ya Don't want That
