Best WLM Reviews

Quick service when we went on a weekday for lunch. Great air conditioning when it was 92 degrees outside. Highly recommend their beachside taco wrap with blackened grouper. Wish windows were clear and not black screened ruins the view.
Very cozy place. It was kind of slow due to time of year but the food. You have the option of eating upstairs or downstairs which was nice. I tried the alligator tail which was yummy and not chewy, had the lobster bisque which was delish! My husband had the grouper sandwich and the fish portion as huge! Service was friendly and attentive which was nice.
Service here was great! Atmosphere was unique, the first level in line with the parking lot so it was an appealing. However, we were offered to sit “upstairs” and it was just the most perfect beach side vibe we were looking for! so if you visit, definitely asked to sit upstairs! They had a pineapple hard cider on tap, and it was completely heavenly! Our waitress was so nice! And the Keylime pie was the best I’ve literally ever had! I would go back simply for the Keylime pie!!
I am new to Florida and went here to experience Florida Seafood. I ordered their pull and peal shrimp and crakes. Everything was very good, and the waitress was very nice. I ate upstairs, and the only complaint I had was that the area I sat in was very dark, and I had to use my cellphone to see the menu. I could have sat in a better lit area in the upstairs dining area, but I wanted to be close to the door with the warm air blowing in. If you go during the day, there are a lot of windows in their upstairs dining area, so its probably well lit. During the night, the upstairs is dimly lit, and that is just part of their atmosphere. I would recommend this place to others. They have a lot of different seafood options and everything I tried was very good!
So we read some reviews and thought it would be a solid local joint. As you walk up it looks a little run down and could use a little exterior clean up and a face lift. They were busy enough that their 4+ tables were full, so we were going to leave. One of the servers said that if we wanted to wait like 15 minutes he could get us seated. Gave us some menus so we could prep and figure out what we wanted.
Pros:
Friendly staff
Stuffed crab was great
Blackened shrimp was great
Pretty quick service after ordering
Cons:
Public sauce containers that were dirty (I didn’t even trust using them)
Slaw was droopy and did not taste fresh
Interior is very run down and needs tlc
Fries even though seasoned well, were cold
Worth a try for a local joint, but I will likely never return.
Sort of a dive atmosphere, but really fresh good food. Waitress very attentive but not very informative. Lots of stairs to restaurant, not super clean and plastic ware. This could be highly rated restaurant if they put some time into it because the food is really good.
Wonderful service along with accommodation for seafood allergies! Also nice enough to give us a military discount for my grandpa. Wonderful setting, right on the beach for that sea breeze and some fresh fish. Had grouper for my first time here, and it was fantastic, they did slip on my grandma's shrimp order, but fixed it right up and even asked if we wanted to keep the other shrimp. Great staff, great food, keep up the great work! :)
Jackie, our server was just a wonderful person full of smiles and very helpful and fast moving. First floor was a fish market full of different types of fish you could buy. Also, they have a sitting area outside where you can sit down and have your food. For the second floor of the stairs was the sitting patio but lots of windows, a lot of air, grade atmosphere, and the bar. We service on the second floor and we loved the food there. Virginia oysters were good. We had some fish fingers which were huge and delicious, we had some shrimp quesadillas. They were delicious. Also they’re baked potato was great. The crab bisque soup was so good. Everything was amazing. My fish was also grade I had the fried fish! Overall experience was great! Nice tall tables very big and cozy. We are just here for a day in Jacksonville but loved a nice dinner and will definitely come back to this very homie place. Also, parking right in their lot, free and enough.
