Friendly, honest, and great communication!
I highly recommend this repair shop. Dan was so pleasant on my initial phone call and throughout the whole process of getting my brake pads/rotors replaced. He called me within an hour to give me an estimate and had the work done the same day. I expected the repair to cost hundreds more than it actually did so the prices are very reasonable as well. I can now see why this shop was recommended to me and I’ll continue to do the same.

My car was fixed in a fair time. However, I would shop the company as after the repair I followed up on the the cost of parts were 4 times dealer prices for a major part and the labor was at least 2 and 1/2 times what you tube showed for the replacement. I could have done in an hour or less if I knew. I would get estimates or just go to the dealer? in this case I would most likely have save 40 to 50 % of a over a thousand dollar bill.
1st time customer. What originally was going to be an expensive repair ended up being a simple inexpensive part replacement. Thanks you Dan for all that you do! Definity recommend this place for your car repairs.
Fixed the AC (replaced busted rear evaporator) in my 2019 Suburban. Very friendly service and they were able to get it done very quickly.
So, I'm torn. I was referred to Beachside Automotive to work on my '69 Oldsmobile. The motor has a knock in the lower, right side and an exhaust leak at the top right. Wheels get hot as well. Took two weeks to get an appointment. When I dropped the car off I didn't get to talk to a Mechanic directly. All work request go through a receptionist. Didn't hear anything for a couple days. I had to follow up to get a status update. Did eventually talk to a Mechanic, only because one answered the phone. Mechanics seem to know their stuff but they are a bit...gruff and a bit, well, condescending. Sorry, that's how I received their feedback. Anyway, they said the engine likely had a bad number 4 cylinder and that I might as well either get a replacement motor or do a rebuild. Don't want a replacement motor! Everything on the car is stock and original. They also said whoever did the brakes messed it up badly (pads on backwards, etc.) So, I asked for estimates on an engine rebuild and an estimate for brakes. Again, had to follow up a few times with phone calls and kept being told they were working on it or waiting for the rebuild shop to give them an estimate. (That told me they don't do rebuilds in shop.) Finally got a call with estimates about a week later. $6-7K for a rebuild and $600 for each front and rear brake jobs. I thought that was crazy! So, in the end, the shop was thorough and eventually got me what I was asking for but I always had to follow up, so not great communication, and their work estimates were pretty outrageous, in my humble opinion. I found another "classic automotive" shop that will do the rebuild, in house, for $5,500 and front and rear brakes for $300 each. Way better!
Dan and his mechanics are the very best. I've been bringing my car to them for years, and the repairs are always done perfectly and in a timely manner. Depending on the circumstances, Dan always explains what needs to be done, or what has been done, and never tries to sell me anything extra. I recommend his honest service and fair prices without qualification.
Great garage. Honest and fair. Can take a little bit to get on the schedule, but hasn't been an issue. Been there for multiple issues, always pleased. Would highly recommend.
