It was a bit of a wait to get our food, but it was pretty good. The wrap was as expected, but the waffle sandwich (you have to sub chicken) was way better than expected! Perfect amount of sweetness. Pleasantly surprised with the food here.
You always expect to pay a premium for airport food. They have you as a captive audience, and at ECP there isn’t much competition. This is about the third negative experience I have had at Beachtime Grill. It’s very overpriced, the kitchen staff are young and incredibly rude, and the quality of the food is on par with that of a gas station. There is an upcharge to add pickle relish to an $11 hotdog that makes a movie theater dog taste like a filet. The fish taco has the aroma of last year’s catch. I’d strongly recommend having a full stomach prior to getting through security, or you may find yourself in the same situation that I foolishly have repeated…three times.
For a small airport this place is pretty satisfying. Not a bunch of options, but they had breakfast food that was filling.
PB got the breakfast bagel with bacon and he enjoyed it. I got the wrap with sausage and it brought me back to life. The hash browns I got were a bit oily but still good. They are pretty slow though, so this is a better place when you have a bit of time before your flight leaves. Total it took about 20-25 minutes to get our food with only 6-7 orders in front of us. Again, it’s one of your two options available.
Pictured is 26 dollars of food. The chicken taco is a single taco with “lettuce” but not what you would expect on a taco. There is also shredded cheese. These are the two toppings included with the chicken taco.
The Jalepeno Poppers which are 8 dollars for 4.. only has half of a jalepeno in them, we’re not even slightly spicy, and seem to be filled with wiz cheese.
I would STRONGLY recommend eating some overpriced combos or a cliff bar from a different stall.
Food was decently priced for an airport and was a pretty good value overall. Tasted great too!
Food was good but a little pricey compared to other large airports. We were glad there was something to eat and it tasted pretty good.
Fast but expensive. Wouldn’t expect a small airport to have big airport prices. Ingredients were really good but the portions were very small. $9 for a wrap and $6 for a muffin seems steep to me.
Cleaned the grill overhead vents directly over grill where they were actively cooking food! Insanely disgusting and I’m sure a health code violation. When we asked about it they just ignored us. GROSS!
