I really liked the menu, they have so many different items to choose from like smoothies, açaí bowls, coffee, various snacks, sandwiches.
I got two smoothies, pastries, and an açaí bowl and everything was very delicious and was prepared quickly too. Overall great service and the interior is very cozy.
For doggie parents, they allowed me to come in to order with my pup. We waited outside for our order, not sure if they allow to sit inside with a pup but ordering should be fine.
I love their Acai Bowls and everyone here is very friendly. I got to meet the owner and the manager of Beach Monkey Café and both were super friendly to me! I have tried the coffee as well and I love it. Even if you're having a bad day, anything they serve will perk you right up!
Really nice breakfast and lunch spot in Pacifica. The owners are super lovely, and the food is great. Really enjoyed the açaí bowl, breakfast sandwich, and baklava :)
Beach Monkey is a great, family owned, local cafe in Pacifica. Good, clean food and tasty coffee. They have delicious Açaí bowls, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. This place is a must try when in Pacifica.
This place used to be fine but has gone downhill since changing ownership a couple of years ago. They have a big (very disorganized?) menu, so I haven’t tried everything—maybe some of it is good, as other reviewers say. (I just had to spit out the last few bites of a turkey sandwich due to a big chunk of fatty gristle.)
The coffee is still fine. The service is nowhere near as friendly as it used to be.
What’s really gone south is the ambience. This used to at least be a decent place to sit and work or read. Now it feels like a food storage facility with some big pillows to sit on. The counter is littered with random products. The menu on the wall looks like it’s been vandalized. (It hasn’t; the owners just crossed out old menu items instead of investing in a new menu.) It’s one of those local businesses where you want to ask the owners, “Don’t you see what this place looks like from the customer’s point of view??”
Good variety of Sandwiches in the menu, seem to have their local repeat customers, a bit pricey. The servers w too busy cleaning their equipment to greet us. The coffee was nothing special, but then again we are selective with our choice of coffee beans, grind them daily, and use a very good coffee maker. I do not intend to go back.

I ordered the chicken gyro plate. It tasted ok but I got so sick after. The service wasn't terrible but it was very cold and didn't feel welcoming or like our business or presence was wanted. It feels a little run down. The outside seating was dirty, a bit broken and didn't feel safe to eat at. Maybe it was an off day for them but I don't think I'll be giving this place another try.
