We passed by around 5:30PM on a Wednesday and they still had plenty in stock. (The 1 1/4 lb hard shell lobsters were sold out, but they had everything else) They also carry a creamy clam chowder to reheat.
They steam the lobster on site for you in around 30 min - so we went for a little tour of Old Orchard beach while we were waiting and came back to our dinner packed and ready to go.
We were also able to grab butter, garlic, lemon, fresh veggies and some beautiful sweet strawberries at the stand to complete the meal.
Came to a great price for the lobster meal for the family.
(They also have a parking lot!!)
They've been there forever, a staple in the OOB summer season. Best lobster prices and they'll cook them for free! Clams too. Nice selection fresh veggies, fiddleheads and flowers in the spring! Jams, jellies, eggs....too much to list. The new owner, Daniel, is a great guy. The whole staff is awesome. Do yourself a favor and swing by.
Amazing... call ahead and pick up two 2.5 lb lobsters. Just tell them when you're coming by and they're ready. Cheap too. 13.99 a lb. Would have given them 5 stars if they steamed the clams they sell
What an adorable place. Great friendly service. They have lots of local items for purchase (jams, pickled vegetables, pies) and they change by whatever is in season. We picked out our lobsters and told them when we wanted them; they cooked it and we picked it up right on time. As they do not have a permit to serve food, they could not crack it open for us but they have the crackers for purchase so we just took ours back to the hotel and ate it on our balcony. A great Maine experience. The lobster was a little bit over cooked but absolutely delicious and meaty.
This place is AMAZING!!!! So are their prices!!! Made us ready to move to Maine!!! They even have shipping supplies.

This farmstand is the best around in Old Orchid! Their location makes it very easy to find (the main road.) Everything is fresh, priced at a rate that anyone can afford, and they gave us all of the information that we needed to store them, which ones to buy, etc for our 5 hour trip back home. Not to mention they packed all 12 lobsters safely for us to transport. They really went above and beyond. We recommend them to anyone wanting delicious lobster, fresh from the ocean, that is affordable for anyone to purchase. Well done!
I believe that this store was not an honest place. Last Friday, I paid for a 3 pound, hard shell lobster and asked to have it steamed. A young man steamed and gave it to me in a sack. When i got to my hotel and found it was not the one weighted in front of me. It had big claws but they were soft and empty; the tail was small. It was definitely not the same as a 2- or 3- pound lobster we had at other places before and after i bought the one from them. Buyers be aware.
