Female trucka and I was looking for home cooking with love aka Soul Food. I order smoother porkchops(cook to order) with Mac and green beans along with my happy ending of medium banana pudding. I must say I was humming and very bite hit my soul.???? The customer service was very good and I didn't wait for to long to be acknowledged, which was good thing. I will definitely be visiting this place again.
We visited several times, and it was delicious. The last time that we visited, they said they were moving to the Cypress Gardens area. We haven't been able to find them. I would love to go there again.
Food is exceptional! Huge portions and great prices. Very polite and helpful staff. The food is made to order so it can take a little more time than the average restaurant…but it is DEFINITELY worth the extra wait!!!
Service was awesome. The menu has a wide variety to choose from including breakfast all day and prices are very reasonable. My food was okay, a little heavy on the seasoning, I had the seafood platter and side of okra. I will try something different next time.
Update:: I recently visited with friends, they loved it and I tried the patty melt it was good..
Third time visiting and the customer service is nice and friendly the food is sooo good. I’ve tried the smothered pork chop dinner, mild wings, and ribs with mild sauce and I would order each item again. Also, everything was cooked to order so it was fresh and hot.
Food was delicious but looks like they're no longer in business
When visiting new places or searching for restaurants in an area I’m visiting, I rely on reviews. So, I check the reviews here, and this location had the most reviews and also great reviews. The food was good, except the “collard greens.” I seem to have been given spinach or a bad scoop of outdated canned greens possibly mustard greens. I know when I’m eating collard greens and when I am not. I’m a foodie, oxtails enthusiast, like please don’t do things like that (substitution) without asking ur customer. It’s highly offensive. That substitution was horrible. The oxtails and rice were good as was the cornbread and macaroni. Oxtails seem to have gone up in price globally, with ur plates costing $20+ one would think that you wouldn’t play with ppls food like that. Boring. ????
The smiling energetic and attentive staff could have made up for mediocre food but they did not have to. The breakfast was great and the service was even better.
