Great place to pick up a delicious hotdog or a polish dog made your way. Great fries and freshing cold can of soda. Only outdoor shaded seating is available. There are no restrooms unless you ask to use the restrooms at the gas station right next door. Credit cards accepted. Plenty of parking.
Great tasting food! If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stop here for their charred hotdogs. They had fries that were firm and crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. Perfect.
Amazing!!! Real Chicago Dogs and the Best French Fries around! I have lived in this area for over 40 years and have eaten at every hot dog stand and restaurant around. This hidden gem needs a bigger shoutout. This place is worth to seek out. From dogs to polish to fries, everything is amazing.

Service was excellent. Very friendly. Food was outstanding. Chicago style hot dogs were delicious and the cheese fries were out of this world. I highly recommend Z's Char Dogs to everyone but hurry up. They are open through October 16 before they close for the season.
This place is the best for a Chicago style dog and French fries. This coming from a guy who lived in Chicago. The dog is well dressed up the traditional Chicago way, and you can almost never go wrong with that, but somehow others have. But the French fries are the draw, super crispy, they melt in your mouth. I have no idea how she does it. The owner is super friendly and just a real person. Check it out, and make it your favorite too.
No thrills stand with good dogs and polish . Fairly quick from point of ordering to eating .
