Brisket sandwich was very good with potato salad as the side ( I personally don’t like coleslaw, but I enjoyed it in the sandwich)
They have a small seating area, with huge tables to order all the food you want, big fans on for the heat, and a radio playing music! I loved the whole atmosphere!
And of course clean well kept bathrooms !
Was just passing through town, I would recommend. The family was so nice and welcoming I really recommend you come give it a try!

It's a small place without outdoor seating only but the people are very friendly and take care of their customers very well.
All the drinks there are sold for $1.00
The meals range from lowest cost (kids plates) $4.99 to the family platter at $39.99

As for what we ate there it's was delicious.
The brisket Tacos were wonderful, the meat was tender and flavorful and tortilla was not dry but slightly crispy and flaky.
The chicken salad was awesome! The burger and fries were delicious but not as good as the BBQ platter.

I was headed to the truck stop for some food, and saw this place out of the corner of my eye... I ignored it, and pulled in at the truck stop. Then I was like, whatever, geaux check this place out. I'm SO SO glad that I did! I got the two meat plate with ribs and chicken. I got rice dressing and BBQ beans for sides. Let me start off by saying... I think this might be some of the best bbq Louisiana has to offer!! Look how easily I could've ignored my curious eye, and wouldn't have gotten the chance to try this hidden little gem!! The prices and service are good as well. I'm trying the seafood next time!! A+
Arrived on Thursday at 6. They were OUT of chicken and didn't have the bayou mousse.
Ordered two meat platter with ribs and pork coleslaw and beans. The meats were tasty, but some was a little too pink for me. Beans were excellent, and coleslaw was ok. Bread pudding tasted pretty good.
The staff was polite and helpful.
There is outside seating. Prices were decent for bbq place.
The country music was blaring, I could do without. Oh, and they deliver to the Tiger truck stop. Check the pics for the number.
Overall, it's a nice place to get dinner.
On the way to Louisan, we stopped at Grosse Tete to get gas. I saw the BBQ sign and we drove there. The food was delicious and we ate there again on the way back. it was really very tasty. Thanks for the good food ♥️ Greetings from Germany, Japan and Texas
Not much to look at, a recycled sea land type container, but good food. Appreciate that the pulled pork is served dry and those who need sauce can get it. Yes, the meat is pink, because it's smoked, not because it isn't done. Parking lot is tiny, so we had to drive past, turn around, then drive past again to a shoulder wide enough to park our motorhome. Worth the extra drive to get good pulled pork and potato salad. Best of all, those who are veterans or over 65 pay $2 less than the menu price. Oh, and a pulled pork burger does not have a hamburger as part of it. It's just that the meat is served on a hamburger bun.
The most tender shrimp I have ever had. Amazing owner. Support this small business, it's absolutely worth it.
Driving from Texas and decided to stop here for lunch. Well worth it! Ribs were amazing and so were the crawfish! Everyone was so nice. Maybe we will stop back by on our way back to Texas.
