Rooms are fine if a little overpriced for the area. Cheaper than Holland! Bathroom fan's squeaky, and when the AC kicks on the whole unit shook, woke us up once. Shower head's are the waterfall style with no pressure, but the water is hot. Nothing overtly wrong during our stay, just kinda low quality. Typical hotel stuff. Parking lot and the general location seemed safe enough - Lots of nice cars in the lot for what that's worth.
Stayed here December 30-31 2023 Room 202 2nd floor. Was overall decent untill waking up the next morning to roaches on top of dresser/entertainment center. Went down to front desk and put a smashed roach on counter. Lady who was working knew exactly what it was and was beyond nice and understanding and went out of her way for us. Manager/Owner sounds like nothing but excuses. Went through Expedia for payment and somehow I can't be reimbursed. Never heard of that before or had that issue. But I got offered 30% off next visit as if I'll come back! I will not be returning. Owner could of made right and helped with chemical cleaning costs of our property and chose not to. Understanding things happen it's a hotel and common issue anywhere you go. But management does not care about customer satisfaction... therefore I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL after reading other reviews and seeing for myself.
Aside from the bugs. It would of been a decent stay for the money spent.
I was hesitant about staying here due to recent reviews, but had to during the winter storm. I'm so glad I did; they have just recently remodeled and everything was extremely clean and higher quality than I would have expected. Mattress was brand new. Staff was very friendly.
Stepped into the hotel and all you could smell is chlorine. We got to the the pool and everything was covered with filth. The pool door was greasy, the pool and hot tub were caked with grime and had stuff floating on bottom. While we were there a kid puked in the pool and the staff said they couldn’t clean it, there was nothing they could do. We left feeling disgusting and dirty.
Clean bathrooms, soft towels, comfortable beds, kind staff. Nice location to stop over on the way "up north".
Accidentally booked a room on the 23rd through Priceline. Called hotel about it. They said contact Priceline I did and Priceline said hotel won't change the date and no refund is available. So it's the he said she said blame game. Nothing is resolved and out of $100. I contacted the hotel and asked if date we planned originally to go if any rooms were available and told we have plenty. So we have a case of greed. I wouldn't use Priceline ever again and certainly not recommend this hotel as it's not one that values customers service.
Update*** hotel responds and assumes I left review for wrong place I clearly mentioned other party Maybe you should learn customer is always right Baymont.
