Hands down, THE BEST restaurant in Ft. Walton Bch! Every course is better than the last one. Fresh ingredients, wonderful sauces, excellent wine selection - absolute perfection for a romantic dinner. Great for foodies. Highly recommend it.
Being in business for 40 years doesn't happen by accident. Impeccable dishes with great service at a quaint little romantic hideaway. Off the beaten path and hard to find, but beyond worth it. Try the spicy shrimp appetizer, it does not disappoint!
I had dinner there recently with some friends and am happy to say the entire experience was wonderful! The host greeted us quickly and brought us to a table that had an exceptional view. The restaurant was clean and tidy, even with it being a Friday night, around 7:30p. The Server greeted us quickly and provided excellent information regarding the menu and specials. The food was served quickly and was absolutely phenomenal! We were engaged in conversation the whole time and the server did a great job in providing exceptional service, yet without being intrusive and annoying, as some servers can tend to do (know your audience, right!?). Again, it was an excellent experience and I will definitely be coming back to Bay Cafe!
I have been traveling throughout FL for a month. This restaurant was the best I found! Each dish was perfectly prepared. We had 3 dishes: liver and onions, shrimp scampi and seafood with angel hair pasta. Tiramisu for desserts. ALL were excellent! Service was wonderful. We sat inside for the AC. They also have deck dining that looked pretty. The chef is excellent and the service was great.
Food was okay. I ordered the veal and mashed potatoes and green beans. I wasn't impressed. Everything else was ok. Overall everything was ok.
Looking for a great spot that’s not a tourist trap? Come here! Food is wonderful, high-quality, and the ambiance and service is superb. Prices are fair. 10/10, very much recommend this place!
Delightful little Cafe on the water is charming and the perfect place for an awesome meal. I recommend the Escargot, Shrimp over marinara angel hair pasta, or omelets, top off your meal with a strawberry and banana romanoff dessert and you're in heaven. Service was excellent! Nice wine list, reasonably priced.
Lovely scenery, good dessert, poor service and overpriced entrees. The French onion soup wasn’t bad but it just didn’t taste like French onion, whatsoever. All of the food was really salty, and average at best. The reason I’m giving one star is because of the rude comments from the waiter. I told him I didn’t like the Wellington and that it tasted salty to me, my friend said she wanted what I had. He has the nerve to tell her “I can’t waste another dish, she already said she didn’t like it and you probably won’t like it either.” What a joke! Great silk pie though!
