Best WLM Reviews
The service has been lacking recently. I dont know this lady behind the counter but everytime I come to get a drink she either isn't there, is distracted, on her phone, or talking to somone unrelated to the job. She's messed up my drink or didn't heat up my sandwiches properly and I will not be going back until it gets better.
Can't complain better than nothing
Definitely good at creating any style drink you want, the staff is very friendly. But the drinks are lacking flavor within the last few hires and no longer worth the price. Conveniently on post, but a good medium sized vanilla iced coffee from BK tastes better and is $3.
It's a quick to enjoy local eatery in the confines of safety
Good place for on base. Fairly high priced but I guess you'd expect it for an off-brand Starbucks that is not of the same quality. The indoor play area boosts I an extra star, a life and for somewhere on base that is indoor for young kids to run around while adults can sip some coffee. I heard people driving up from Ramstein area just for this.
Coffee is fine - they brew Starbucks coffee and can make some specialty drinks. Prices are a little high, especially for non-coffee related articles. Don't expect the pastries to blow your socks off, they all seem to be frozen and shipped - nothing truly fresh.
Java is great - they can make Starbucks drinks. Only downside (and not their fault at all), shipments and supplies run out readily. That can be annoying. The food runs out like the day after the shipment and then they don't have it again for about a week (or for example soy milk etc.). They're also now closed on weekends which is the best time to go there to socialize, knocking out one more place for spouses and families trying to meet each other in their spare time on base.
Java cafe has the most accommodating staff and terrific seasonal drinks. I know they are called differently but still use a lot of same drinks and flavors as Starbucks. Great family area as well for the kids to run and play.
