Steve works very hard to keep repair costs low. Because of this, his prices are very fair (I would say he’s on the low side of average). He explains the issues with you and is transparent throughout the process as he figures things out and troubleshoots. Very practical and kind. A stand up guy. I cant recommend him highly enough.
I have spent a lot of money with this mechanic. This was my primary mechanic until recently my son’s car was towed there with a failed alternator. He replaced the alternator and battery for $805 in a 2016 Nissan Altima. I felt that this was too much and I knew he overcharged after calling around and getting other reputable mechanic shop prices. After driving the car home, the battery light came on and I had to take it back to the shop the next day. It was determined that the alternator was replaced with a defective alternator. He did not charge extra to replace it again, but overall it was a bad experience.
Best automotive technician out there. Doesn't sugar coat anything nor does he overcharge prices. Steve takes the time to explain what the problem was and can even give you a visual aid on what happened.

This is a top notch mechanic. Steve and his brothers are super smart when it comes to cars. When I bring in a problem vehicle, Steve always takes a step back and asks plenty of questions to try and save his customer money before doing unnecessary work. He studies ALL possible options and solutions. He is very price conscious and has great communication skills. We once had a Toyota that was quoted at the dealership for $1000 repair. Steve scratched his head on it and traced it to a faulty ground and fixed it in 5 minutes. He explains every step of the repair so you can understand the costs.
He always sources parts from the best supplier options to save you money. I highly recommend these guys if you are on a tight budget. Honest, hard working and always a student of the trade. This place is great. The smartest mechanics are not the guys who claim to know everything, or have the fanciest lobby. It's the humble guys who do the research and run on a lifetime of experience. 5 stars all day long.
I’ve been here twice and I’ll never go to another mechanic as long as I’m in Greensboro. Steve is very trustworthy and does what he can to help you save your money. So relieved to have found this place after dealing with others who try to rip me off and talk down to me. I just wish I’d found it sooner!
