Great little Regional airport in Baton Rouge. Easy to get around and is a clean and modern facility. I just may be flying here instead of New Orleans because it's easier traveling in smaller airports.
First time flying. Small airport needs some updates but overall clean convenient and would fly from this airport again. Parking was cheap 9 dollars economy and there breakfast food was pretty good and the coffee from pjs.
For a small airport is really clean, updated and has a few places to eat. I always liked smaller airports.
Pros:
- small and easy, security was fantastic
- playroom, nursing area, business center
- appreciated flight status monitor in restaurant area
Cons:
- bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned in a while and some of the stalls were out of TP
- only ONE attendant for ALL the flights, which seemed absurd and caused delays
- Speaking of understaffing, the restaurant was overworked and understaffed as well
- there is no airport wifi?
It's easy and so close to the airport. It's some of the most convenient parking you'll find at any airport.
Their phone number is wrong and when I called they gave me another wrong number. Can’t find baggage claim and no employees around the baggage pickup area. Wonderful experience.
Filthy, confusing and unorganized airport, but it goes with the town so perhaps it's just a Baton Rouge thing
Everything you would expect from a small local airport. Quick processing through the checkpoints but highly susceptible to delays, especially with American Airlines.
