This is the perfect little place if you want awesome food at an awesome price. You get tremendous value here. Four of us stopped in today Sunday, October 29 on our way out of town from a weekend get-together. The gorgeous weather and the leaves falling might have added to the experience but nonetheless, it's a fantastic place to get something to eat. I asked for my bacon "crisp" and they delivered, it was perfect. If you are over near Batesville and you're hungry, give this place a try. Just be aware, the parking lot is kind of on the small side.
What an absolute gem we found! This is the cutest little restaurant that offers amazing food. The French toast was to die for. The inside is awesome with local art on the walls and around that you can buy. The staff was so friendly we didn’t want to leave.
You won’t be disappointed!
I went here for lunch on a Saturday with a large group; we had prearranged for our visit so they'd be prepared.
My bacon cheeseburger was very good. I ordered chips and ranch dressing as the side but they never brought the ranch.
A table mate had the special, beef stew, and said it was delicious. Their coleslaw is sweet and very good. We tried their cinnamon rolls and they too were good; wish they'd warmed them before serving. Fresh, homemade with lots of cinnamon.
The wait staff were excellent. They were patient and pleasant despite having a large group to manage.
However, they "have a small grill" and really aren't ideally suited for serving a large group of 15. Our food trickled out with some waiting almost 2 hours. We still enjoyed our time there because we weren't in a hurry, but if you're looking for a place that can get a large group in and out promptly, this isn't it.
There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the patio seating is pet friendly.
The women's restroom was out of order so all had to use the men's room.
Such a cool little place and the food was GREAT! Owner waited on us and she was very nice! Has the old home town vibe and is a neat little stop over!
Ordered four breakfast biscuits to go. Great service. The biscuits were fresh and delicious. The nice lady who took my order was very efficient and I appreciate her taking care of my order. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. It just "feels right". I am looking forward to dining in soon. Prices are reasonable.
