This place is definitely "Old Skool Kool." The restaurant says it's been here the late 60s. The ladies working as servers and in the kitchen were friendly and very speedy. Coffee was hot and hit the spot. Biscuits and gravy are very good. I really enjoyed my Western Omlet.
I felt like we stepped back in time. It pleased me to find an old style cafe. I felt like I was 30-40 younger ????. The hamburger was great and the battered fries were amazing. This place has been under our noses all this time. We will be back. The bathroom was clean as well.

Large portion sizes. Average quality based on non chain type food. The battered fries were a little too mushy for my liking, but nothing catchup will not fix.
This little out of the way diner is like stepping back in time. Everyone is always kind, the food is always delicious and you always leave feeling satisfied.
It is not fancy, but it does warm the heart. We go there often as it's the best burger around

Ain’t a vote for Biden within 10 miles of this place. Lol It’s cute though . Only 3 stars because the coffee was weak and my biscuit def had a frozen chicken patty on it and I could’ve made at home. Egg biscuit was really good though.
Miss Judy the owner at basketshack is a very sweet lady and has prayer with everyone that walks in the door... the service is wonderful it basket shack!!! Recommend anyone to go to basket shack their food is always good there and wonderful service!
