Accidentally stopped into Barry's Den because we missed the turn for 69. Went to turn around and saw the sign and decided to stop in. Love this greasy spoon diner! Huge menu selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mountain Cozy atmosphere with friendly service and great food.
Good little joint to eat at along Highway 50. A ton of selections on the menu and breakfast served all day which is a bonus. The green chili was a little bland but I like a little more kick to it so maybe I am biased. Food could have been a little more warm but they were super busy when we stopped in so maybe it had to sit for a few minutes before it was served. French fries are delicious!
Small family owned mom and pop diner open for breakfast lunch and dinner. They have just about anything you could think of including giant cinnamon rolls and filled fruit pies!!! If you need a couple bags of ice, they sell that too!!!

Our first visit has made us long time patrons! We can’t wait to go back! We were greeted like we were family by the sweetest young lady. And treated like we were special guests! Our meal was perfect! Very delicious and filling! And dessert was mouthwatering! Yup, there is no doubt we will be regularly visiting this charming cafe! God Bless this precious family!
Glad we eventually made it (they were closed the first time we stopped). The service was GREAT and the food was AWESOME!! Huge portions of deliciousness for a very reasonable price. Our hostess/server was super nice and attentive. Very sad they are closing for good. So happy we got to enjoy at least one meal here!
We stopped at Barry's Den after a river ride. They were a little busy, but very friendly and kept us up-to-date on our order while we waited. Brandy was so friendly and chatted with us when things quieted down. Excellent customer service!
The food was fantastic! We ordered a couple of cinnamon rolls to for breakfast the following morning. They were huge and delicious! The decor was cute and atmosphere cozy.
Best little place with big heart! Food, ice cream, pies, and greatest cinnamon roll ever!
