TACO TUESDAY must! Absolutely loved the atmosphere and food. The build your own taco was a fantastic experience, there are so many creations to concoct. Margaritas were delicious and half priced for happy hour. (Hours vary by location) Tacos came out quick and hot which complemented the house margarita perfectly. Service was a little slow but they were short staffed. I will definitely be back!
I had a very unpleasant experience at this location. The service was unprofessional and made me feel like I was being racially profiled. Hannah H. was particularly unprofessional, as she did not say 'you're welcome', did not refill our drinks, and did not ask if we needed anything. The only time she was quick to provide service was when we asked for the check. During our visit, we noticed a significant difference in how the staff treated us compared to a white couple who sat next to us. We were extremely dissatisfied with the service and have no plans to return to this location.
Let me start by saying that I never leave bad reviews. This used to be one of my favorite spots where we would regularly bring groups of 10+ people and would easily spend $500-$1000 per visit between all of us. But this place is unfortunately now at rock bottom.
The service was absolutely horrible, slow, and inattentive. We didn’t get all of the food that we ordered even after asking multiple times. The icing on the cake was that we were charged $64 for a pitcher of margaritas - and it wasn’t even the right flavor that we asked for.
Needless to say this will be our last time supporting Barrio. I’m very disappointed in the downhill direction that this Columbus location has gone.
We stopped for a light dinner. What a great spot! The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. The patio was great, fresh air and yet you could still see the televisions to watch the different games that were on. I loved the drink list, many items for all to try. The food was tasty. My tacos were delicious. I had one that the restaurant had listed, and one I chose the toppings. If you're a taco person, this restaurant is a must.
We have eaten here several times. The food, amazing! Love the vegan and vegetarian options.
If you have never been, let me give you some friendly advice... There is no "menu" to flip through. Your menu is one of the tablets of paper that you use to pick what you want. There will be pencils on your table too that you fill in the circles on the menu like it's a scantron test from way back in the day.
Went there for a family bday brunch, drove for an hour, and kinda disappointed. There's not many people the day we went like just 1 couple other than us with large groups.. but food took a while to serve. Our waiter was nice but not very attentive to what customers need like our drinks.. atmosphere is not kid friendly.
Salty, flavorless, premade shells!!
Margarita pitchers full of ice.. psa- requesting lite ice only prompts the staff to bring you the watered down bottom shelf pitcher barely half-full, to which they’ll reply, “because of the measured ice you didn’t want!” ????
Y’all, for as gorgeous as this place is on the inside, please hire better kitchen staff who know how to cook.
It’s a missed opportunity to not serve good food in Columbus. Don’t waste your money.
BIG tacos. BYO or they have some inventive and seasonal suggestions. My Bloody Maria came with a thick delicious piece of thick cut bacon
