Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Located in Creekside Plaza, with plenty of outside seating by a fountain and the creek. Lots of great menu choices, featuring barbecue items but also some vegetarian options. Nice cocktail and wine list. Our server, Taylor was attentive and did a great job. The manager was quick to seat our group of 10, even though we arrived without a reservation.
It was my first time here and I wasn’t disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing and our waitress was very helpful with menu suggestions and questions. We were here for a birthday party and I would most definitely go back. The only reason for 4 stars is that our appetizer came out only moments before our main course in which case I would have skipped ordering it but it was extremely delicious as you can see the near empty bowl. Totally would recommend for any event!
I don't normally give places 5 stars for atmosphere, but this place had it all. My server was absolutely wonderful, very attentive, checked on my often and was very accommodating. The outside area is beautiful, fireplace, little pond, pretty lights, and people watching. The food had such good flavor. Love that they had their own BBQ sauces. All around just excellent experience. I'm glad there was a parking garage so close, bc parking on the street seemed impossible.
Tonight’s service was OUTSTANDING!!! Brittany was friendly, quick, and super efficient during a really busy time. The food was delicious! I ordered the BBQ Mac and cheese topped with burnt ends, and collard greens. Perfect flavor and a great portion amount. The music playlist was nice too! This was the perfect way to celebrate our daughter’s birthday!
We had a great time at Barrel and Boar! The food is excellent (especially anything with the brisket or the pickles) and the service is even better. The staff is so friendly and helpful. To add to the whole pleasant experience, the playlist is on point and my son spent the whole time in his high chair dancing. The parking is in a free garage with an exit directly to the restaurant entrance, which my husband and I found convenient and easy, once we understood the situation. My parents, on the other hand, couldn't figure out the parking situation and ended up walking further. But I think that was user error, not anything wrong with the parking itself.
For 4 adults and 2 kids, our bill came out to $150 after tip, and that included my parents getting alcohol.
Great setting with a parking lot right underneath! Barrel & Boar sits on the river and it has a wonderful view . It was too hot for outside but inside was nice as well.
Service is great! The server, the dining room manager - all friendly, attentive but not overwhelming. The food is good, the smell of barbecue in the air makes you hungry the minute you set foot in. I had the brisket Mac and cheese and while the brisket was good, the Mac and cheese was just ok. It filled the whole plate with a heap and was way too much. The chicken sandwich (Hawaiian?) was pretty good.
There was a party going on and despite that our service continued to be the same level of attentive! Overall a greAt place and I'll come back!
This is a nice bar and grill. The inside is setup nicely even if it takes a bit to find the entrance

Signature Beef Brisket , Aged Cheddar Mac & Cheese.
Strawberry shortcake.
