Delicious local shrimp and big delicious burger. We were celebrating a birthday and they baked an incredible 6 inch carrot cake, with cream cheese…we still gave some in the freezer. Relaxing warm setting. Great owner.

My dog and I love going this cafe sitting at nice patio. They always come to greet my dog when they are not too busy. This is the best coffee shop and restaurant in town!

One of our favorite places to eat! The best Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches and last night my husband picked up their Valentines Day special… oh my heart… the lobster and Steak were perfect! And that chocolate espresso cake… literally heaven. If you’re in the area or just passing though… stop here!! You won’t regret it! Stephanie and the gang will make sure you have the best food around!!

I visit family in Darien several times a year from Chattanooga, TN. Best espresso/coffee in town and Stephanie’s scones are the best I ever had and the food is so goox. Never had anything less than amazing.

I ordered a custom cake for a gender reveal, it was perfect! Came out exactly as we discusses and the cake was delicious. While picking up the cake we ordered breakfast too of a bacon, egg and cheese croissant that was everything a breakfast sandwich should be. Highly recommend!

Unseasoned and overpriced food. Service was good. The decor was good enough but there was no ambience. You could hear every word another person was saying in another room, way too quiet.

Rick Starling, I too ate here this same evening.Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, this evening was very unusual for this establishment. I’m not sure if you were aware at the time, but their entire computer system was down and they were understaffed due to uncontrolled circumstances, on an extremely busy evening. The one server they did have this evening was running her tail off and doing the best she could to serve the customers as best she could. As far as the food goes, this place has AMAZING food! Maybe you didn’t get the best steak, but it happens from time to time. I’m sure the folks there offered to make it right and replace it or comp your meal somehow, yet you just decided not to mention any of that in your rant while smashing a great local establishment that depends on reviews. Actually looking at your Google reviews for other businesses, it appears that literally NO BUSINESS, could please you. Every single review you have posted with the exception of ONE, you’ve given a 1 star rating. It would appear sir that you are simply one of those miserable A&!Holes that is only content if they are bashing others and nobody will ever possibly be able to live up to your standards sir. PATHETIC! Do ALL of us a favor and stay home.
