I always enjoy coming here an love the family atmosphere. The food is worth the price you pay and you get nice portions . I always have leftovers to take home .
The soup of the day potatoes. Very thick like it should be nice size of both ham and potatoes. The chicken parmigiana was so tender. The sauce was very full flavored. Would definitely recommend getting the chicken parmigiana left full but not stuffed. Servers were checking on us regularly. Felt very comfortable and atmosphere was very relaxing. Will be on my list for place to stop at when in area.
Stayed at the hotel next door. Came in later in the evening and was greeted warmly by both the host and server.
Had an excellent steak and egg dinner.
Perfectly cooked eggs. Super tender and flavorful steak. Prices were so fair!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Kewanee Illinois. A small local restaurant with great service and food. I went for breakfast and the food was DELICIOUS! The service was speedy and friendly. The only thing is this place could use some sprucing up. This is an edit... Don't get the Stir fry steak ???? thought I'd try something new bad idea the sauce on it was nasty Service was still great though
TOTAL 18.32 for a simple double cheese burger and fries. That is what I just paid about 15 minutes ago. I placed the order over the phone, my own fault I should have asked for a total but what a joke the food is not that good. Never will I go back and will be sending people to the family restaurant in Princton. It's a shame the wait staff are amazing. No wonder they make no tips.
Had breakfast there this morning with my wife and daughter. Went before school because my daughter was going to be on the radio. Breakfast was delicious! I love their food and coffee. We know some of the waitresses. They're friendly and get you refills or whatever you need asap. One of my favorite restaurants in Kewanee, Illinois.
Went here for dinner with my friends and the only good part about the place is the service. Waitress was very nice and checked in often. The food on the other hand was not nice. Would not recommend coming here unless you want to spend $20 on food that will taste and make you feel horrible.
I HAD THE BEST SERVICE..GOOD FOOD.. ???? THE LADY ON THE PHONE WAS NICE.. MY FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. I HAD RIBEYE STEAK DINNER AND 1/4 CHICKEN ???? DINNER.. THEY WERE DEFINITELY DELICIOUS ????
