Tons of big truck parking. The nicest people and some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. We got the Barney Pasta. They definitely don’t skimp on the food. Our appetizers were plentiful as well.
This place must be the best kept secret in the area. My wife and I were passing through, and decided to eat here. The menu was full of delicious sounding options, so we tried most of the appetizers lol. Fried green tomatoes, mushrooms, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks, and pimento cheese balls. They were all amazing. Those pimento cheese balls are outstanding. Light and creamy inside. Everything was wonderful, until I got my pork chops, which were overcooked and hard. They took it back, and made it right though. It was an excellent experience
We dined here 3 times actually. And we really love it. Great atmosphere, great service & great food every time. Hard to decide which meal was the best. But the husband and I was real impressed with the strawberry butter. It was really a great surprise to try.
This is our second time visiting Barney’s Roadhouse. The first time we went, we were forced here because all other restaurants in the area were super busy. We have been immediately seated both times we visited. The food is actually really good. They have a lunch special and dinner special daily that changes. My husband had a double patty burger, my son had a kids cheeseburger, my daughter had a chicken sandwich, and I had the prime rib.
The prime rib was just 'Meh' at best. The Au Jus sauce they served on the side was ice-cold. The butter beans were great, as well as the mashed potatoes. The chicken sandwich is huge; my daughter could only eat about 4 bites and brought the rest home. The kids' cheeseburger is also fairly large and more than enough. The fries are great and perfectly seasoned. The cheese sticks, though? Fabulous.
All in all, this place is far too slow for how good the food is. It’s pretty pricey, but in my opinion, well worth it. We will be back. You should give it a try if you are on the fence
I walked over from the truck stop and so glad I did. Great staff and great food. I was very pleased. Recommend to try it if you are in the area.
Absolutely wonderful. 19.99$ for a "FULL" plate of food. Prime rib. Absolutely delicious. Came with dessert. Family dynamic atmosphere, loved it. Absolutely recommend visiting and eating here.

Second time dining here, GREAT food, friendly atmosphere still. Absolutely top 5 places I've ate at. Only thing that put a frown on my face was I missed the owners by minutes. Was hoping to meet them again. Next time hopefully.
This was our first time here. It was great! The food was amazing. There was a lot, so I ended up with seconds later in the evening. The service was impeccable. It just had a welcoming home feel to it as well! We will be stopping by again when our travels take back that way.
Amazing food! Huge portions!
You have to try the fried pimento cheese balls.
